So we have a very young kid (Mikey), his annoying immature brother (Tommy) and his girlfriend (Cindi) and they want to play a VHS tape for Mikey called ''The Loop'' which is supposed to be ''the scariest movie ever made''. Well... it wasn't scary at all. This short film has all the 80's slasher film cliches you'd expect. You have a villain that looks like Freddy Krueger re-imagined, you have 3 hyper-sexual teenagers, two of them were kissing in front of a kid like they were alone in the room, you have the semi-naked pretty teenage girl talking on the phone, you have the 80's inspired background music and you have a predictable cheesy ending. The editing was very choppy, sometimes it felt like the film was lagging. It's entertaining overall but like i said in the title i've seen it all before, nothing original, it's all been done before a million times. This was more of a tribute to the 80's than an original film. My rating is 5/10.

a videotape

Warning: Spoilers
In short, the recipe of Last Action Hero in horror clothes and the idea of Ring. A very simple story about the young brother and the too familiar reactions of the imature older brother about him.
A videotape , the reaction of boy and the fight for survive. Nothing new, attractive or real impressive. But decent for the reference to a sort of version of Thanos ( and inspired infinity sign on forehead ) and for the reactions of boy.
The best thing - maybe the predactibility. And, sure, the suggestions of the end.
A reasonable short horror , few not so bad cliches. And, in fact, nothing more for not see it as one of nice try , with few real good points - technical more.
