Dave Cullen's "Avengers: Endgame and the Latest Captain Marvel Outrage!!" is a really long title for a fairly short film as this one here makes it barely past the 6-minute mark. It was written by ginger Cullen and he is also the one you hear in this Irish production. He has become a truly prolific writer and producer in recent yaers and his Youtube productions seem to be appreciated by many. I must admit I have never come across anything by him so far, but this did change now. And I kinda liked what I saw. This is from 2 months ago approximately when Cullen elaborates on what the upcoming Avengers film may look like and he wasn't all wrong. Whenever he speaks about the key subject of this presentation, I found it fairly insightful and interesting. Sometimes he gets a bit off the mark mocking Youtube commenters who are very detemined on Youtubers getting their facts straight, but yeah, I can forgive him for that. Like the title says, there is major focus on Captain Marvel (played by Oscar winner Brie Larson) and what role she may play in the new film. It wasn't a big one, correct again. The talk about her changing from little to no makeup in her own movie to lots of makeup in the Avengers movie okay I guess that is something maybe girls will care more about. I didn't mind it honestly, but I can see why it is an issue for some. But lets keep in mind she had Scarlett Johansson next to her who once again looked more amazing than ever, so cannot really blame her for going a bit less natural here. Anyway, the brief elaboration about Captain Marvel in the sense how it got promoted to be such a new impact because of the main character being female was hilarious and it showed how fake this advertizing was and how the age of #metoo and political correctness is clearly clouding people's views falling for false promises like these. Overall, I think it was a good watch and not only for huge fans of the film worth checking out as honestly I preferred the previous Avengers film. May also have to do with me rooting for Thanos to some extent (and thank you again for pointing out what an idiot Chris Pratt's character was), so it was especially nice to see the guy at the end say the same. Thumbs-up for Cullen's little "film" here. Watch it.
