Robert van Ackeren, better known for his classic "Die flambierte Frau", made a sympathetic film from a diverse collection of home made 8mm movies - ranging from holiday scenes and a guy importing his bride from the Philipines in the first part to home made pornographic flics in the second. The first part has it's hilarious moments: a band of nudists is digging in the dirt behind their club house in the alps- and it has it's shocking moments when people on a party have to kill a cock hanging from a rope by hitting his head. The porn stuff actually is so bad it's already good again.
To sum it up: This movie shows a side of Germany I haven't known yet. Funny and weird stuff - an experience you shouldn't miss.(The first movie in this series -"Deutschland privat - Eine Anthologie des Volksfilms"- is said to be a cult classic - I'll have to check it out as well.)
