I've been enjoying watching Miraculous so far and watched every episode up to this multiple times. I wouldn't give any prior episode lower than 7/10. But I absolutely hated this episode. Having someone come back from the future and give loads of major spoilers about the future of the universe is just plain stupid. Who wants loads of spoilers? The show has been great so far about slowly revealing bits and pieces of the story such as about the kwamis, Gabriel's motives, Ladybug/Cat noir's relationship, Master Fu etc. This just completely ruins everything they built up.
I'm not sure if I'm just too angry about the spoilers but everything else about the episode seemed to annoy me also. Such as -
Mr Pigeon being akumitized 23 times to the point that LB&CN no longer take him seriously and Hawkmoth even says that he is rubbish, then gets akumitized again! After the 24th time, all of which were because of his love of pigeons, he seems to now be into rats? Time travel, which is now so overused in pop culture it just ruins any dramatic moment in a film or show, because you can always just go back and change it. My other disliked episode from this season (although no where near the hatred level of this episode) was the one where Adrian used the Snake Miraculous to turn back time thousands of times. I wish they would stop using time travel it ruins the drama. The only good use of time travel I could see would be if I could go back and tell myself to give this episode a miss. The spoilers from the Adult Alix/Bunnyx were not only awful due to the fact they were major story spoilers, but some of them were just stupid. Mainly the idea that Marinette & Adrian are 'Child Miraculous users' at the moment and cannot unlock their full power (such as multiple ability uses) until they are adults does not make sence and undermines their efforts so far. Finally, and most importantly, the thing that I downright hated was that timetagger revealed there would be a different Hawkmoth in the future. What a stupid way to reveal such an Important plot point. Also why should there be another Hawkmoth? Gabriel is Hawkmoth. Gabriel is interesting. If they make Lila Hawkmoth, as they are teasing at the end of the episode, it would be the stupidest thing I would ever think they could do. To summerise, if I had the ladybug and cat miraculous now and could make a wish to alter reality, I would make it so this episode never existed.
