45 years ago, Ulrike Meinhof hanged herself in her prison cell. As a terrorist she belonged to the leaders of the RAF, which kept the country at suspense with attacks, kidnappings and taking hostages. However, Meinhof was also a journalist and an identification figure for many young leftists. In her columns she harshly criticized the political and societal status in the German Federal Republic. Why was Meinhof admired as a journalist - and how did she become a terrorist? These questions are asked by ZAPP author Caroline Schmidt, whose family was targeted by the RAF at the time.
