The mind of a deranged killer...

Warning: Spoilers
This was a good plot it could have done with a bit more tears so the emotional side of it could come across better but nevertheless a good episode.

Just like season 1 episode 8 'Predators' with Ronnie Lee Bishop who went on a killing 'spree' raping and killing women who looked like his mother when she was young dancer and prostitute because one of his Mother's client(Stepdad too) raped him. He was accompanied by Raylynn Parker who suffered a brain injury and fell in love with Ronnie. She watched while Ronnie raped and killed young women.

Now to Ride or Die we see Connie a young Hispanic (half) American who never got over a breakup with her boyfriend and developed a homicidal obsession (if this a term) with her ex new fling who is described as a prettier and upgrade to Connie. Connie just like Ronnie had daddy issues and couldn't get over the hurt of the past and took out their frustration by killing.

Amber was Connie 'Raylynn' and was there to witness their killing. I'm glad that shows write stories about mental health without spelling it as a mental health issue because there is a thin line between being mentally ill and just being a killer. I'm no psychologist but displaying behavior like Ronnie and Connie it might come under the mental health bracket.

All in all, it was a well put together episode and the conclusion of the episode was refreshing to see. No talking the suspect out of doing more damage and no filling the suspect of bullets. Instead, we saw Connie try to frame Amber so she would walk free.

Not beliavable at all.. different from the other episode that the guy was psycho and had like a female counterpart that was actually afraid of him.. but in this one, a skinny little girl is able to make everyone around her scared, another woman taller than her and also a dude like 40lbs heavier than her.. lol

made no sense.. so after all of that, the story became unisteresting and boring.. luckily, the show is not fond of long useless chit chat and fillers like the apple tv echo 3.. boring as hell with the long draggin scenes that add nothing to series..

I guess not all episodes can be originals and compelling.

Dick Wolf Revisiting a Tired Approach?

Warning: Spoilers
The thing that always irritated me about "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" was that it would always conclude with some psychobabble, which would induce the culprit to confess. It's silly to think that criminals who meticulously planned out their crimes would be susceptible to such manipulation. Yet that's how this episode concluded; a psychopath breaking down and confessing when she had all but beaten the rap. Even the rationale behind the confession was weak.
