Wow. This film was so warm and filled with heart. With a nice layer of comedy, the writer/director was able to introduce a refreshing perspective of what it is to be a first generation immigrant trying to connect with our parents. This film immediately transports you to a world filled with funny, quirky characters who you can't help but root for. The director was able to add a touch of magic realism to a vulnerable moment, easing the audience to the film's most heart breaking moment. I appreciated that. This film will leave you with a need to call you parents, hug them and tell them how much you love them. Trust me, just watch!
