Gets better
mvandehaterd29 January 2022
Excellent voice acting of grey griffin.. no one is able to use a voice to create an evil character like her. I am very interested how the briarwoods are used in this serie... i think they will return in other episodes... and of their powers. Hopefully it will be explained...

Keeps getting better!

This show keeps getting better and better and I'm here for it. While the first two episodes were great, this episode was truly remarkable. We get introduced to a new and menacing villian. Loving the pace of the show, can't wait for what's to come!

Fast paced action with stunning visuals

What a great time the first 3 episode were, and that's coming from someone who didn't watch the Campaign. Characters feel real and fleshed out. Animation is gorgeous. Music and songs are great. If you like anime (think along the lines of Castlevania) and fantasy, you will love this.

This was a fun episode

I enjoyed this episode and thought it was much better than the first two.

It was a great introduction to the Briarwoods. I am looking forward to the rest of the story.

There were a few things from the original live stream that I had completely forgotten about and was pleased to see in this episode. A good fan service episode.

Interest has been increased

Warning: Spoilers
The new antagonists seem interesting could have used with a bit more setup as to what really happened the snippets of dream were telling but did not give me a full idea of what really happened throwing of the characters purpose or reason. The show was fine with showing gratuitous violence before but seemed to stray away when it would be more impact full to see what truly happened.

This show seems to also lack in world building as I have not gotten a good grasp of it what so ever as someone without knowledge of the source material.

Good fight scene
suprmposng27 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The fighting was well paced along with the light gore which naturalises the scene. However the beginning delivery of Percy's backstory via a dream, which was basically a flashback, was unnecessary and diminished the mystery of why he is so troubled and angry in the perspective of the rest of Vox Machina. This tied together with already seeing what the Briarwoods are capable of via Episode 2's ending made it even less interesting as we already know they are strong and are absolute villains. All in all, some more mystery would have be better for this episode with the already sweet fight scene culmination and Percy's rage.

Other reasons the episode wasn't that great was the rushed drama and the persistence to insert a joke, every minute.
