Spoilers - we are spoilt!

Warning: Spoilers
Drunk Eve, sensitive Carolyn - perfection!! Constantin as devious and hilariously treacherous as you could possibly hope for. And the Founding Editor of Bitter Pill played brilliantly by Detective Inspector John Luther!! This is on top of Villanelle as a Toys R Us Management Trainee Assassin Clown, living in a sublime Barcelona apartment and falling apart in such a beautifully understated manner, when she finds out Eve is still alive!!

Well done episode

Sandra Oh and Fiona Shaw do excellent job as their characters deal with the events of the last season. Villanelle has a fun subplot as well.

Absolutely Sublime

I feel like I have feasted on the greatest meal imaginable. Not a single hair or foot out of place.

I was worried after Series 2 that without Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Killing Eve was going to slide - and it did for the remainder of Series 2. But oh, how it has bounced back with a vengeance with Suzanne Heathcote.

Vibrant, understated brilliance, script, acting, set designs, plot advancement... just everything is perfect.

Delicious!

Another showcase for how far this once brilliant series has fallen
Kingston2621 April 2020
I have decided that I'm going to review every episode of this season as a way to document my feelings and, sadly, frustrations as each episode airs.

Sadly, after the rather appalling season premiere, the second episode didn't do much in the way of dispelling my fears for this season. Uninspired writing, boring character interactions, countless missed opportunities and overuse of 'chic' cinematography adds up to another soulless and disengaging episode.

The scenes that had potential (Carolyn in the car, the clown party) came up short. I am giving this a 6/10 because the central actors continue to give great performances, but their talents are being entirely wasted on such a boring story.

The greatest disappointment is that we all know what levels of greatness this show can achieve - it would be a criminal shame for it to be reduced into the drivel that it sadly looks like it is becoming.

Tune in next week for my thoughts on Episode 3.

series 3 gets worse.
ib011f9545i26 April 2020
British viewer here,we are watching series 3 at the moment. It is getting worse, series 1 was great, series 2 was good, series 3 is disappointing. Everyone of course entitled to their opinions but surprised that people are still praising this thing. It might get better but I doubt it,why is the writing so poor in the 3rd series? Little happens in each episode, style over content.

Management Sucks
Prismark1022 June 2020
So Villanelle did not know that Eve is still alive until Konstantin told her.

Does that mean she meant to kill Eve?

Villanelle is to her delicious malevolent self. She goes to a hit dressed as a clown. Villanelle is now management courtesy of Dasha. So she has to dispose of her fellow assassin.

Eve though is gloriously drunk as Kenny's wake. Everybody thinks Kenny jumped off the building. Eve knows she was murdered.

Carolyn knows her son did not jump but she is keeping her thoughts to herself for know. The episode introduces her daughter Geraldine and could be a weak link.

There were some good moments but it felt disjointed. It is the second episode and I cannot see a plot outside of who killed Kenny?

Herbert from Family Guy!
vuileharry10 August 2020
When you start this episode from the beginning, then immediatly there is a song playing that is sung by Herbert, the pedophile that lives in Family Guy! I am warning you to proceed at your own risk, because once you heard it (and you certainly WILL, quite immediatly), you can never again unhear it.

I don't get the incredibly low rating reviews, I definitely don't think it's that bad at all. Yeah it's not as good as season 1 but not bad by a long shot. I was worried for one moment, when VILLANELLE, the most ruthless, skilled, and completely sociopathic female murderer I've ever seen on screen, was suddenly supposed to educate Justin Bieber into becoming a professional assassin. I was afraid they were suddenly going full SNL comedy now. But luckily it wasn't that bad at all.

I think it's still pretty entertaining and this episodes gets my well deserved 7 out of 10. And besides, Herbert singing a song on Killing Eve, now that is cool!

New writer completely misunderstands the show
demon-5377321 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The first episode was slow but I appreciate it is difficult to start a new season but this episode made me scream in anguish at the TV set. There was no story! It's all show and no substance. They over use the killing eve music and randomly have all these sub characters everywhere with no proper introduction or back story. Like WHY DOES KENNY RANDOMLY NOW HAVE A SISTER?!? ITS BEEN TWO SEASONS AND WE'RE JUST LEARNING HE HAS A SISTER!!!! URGH she was shoehorned in and is so unnecessary.

Also why does Kenny on his phone have a picture of HIMSELF as the background!?! Like what is this??? Jodie Cormer, Fiona Shaw and Sandra Oh are all amazing. I am absolutely heart broken that someone has taken a high quality programme of Killing Eve and given it a script worthy of a soap. Urgh so fumming.

An example of writers with no direction
scottsideasare24 April 2020
First off, I love this show. The first episode was a bit off kilter, but still good. The second episode sends a clear message, the writers have no idea where to go. It's pure filler all the way and doesn't bode well for the season. I should have waited before purchasing the season. I hope they get back on track.

Killing Eve? More like Killing Every Promising Plot
katyfahon28 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ep1: oh it looks like maybe we'll diversify Kenny's role in this as something past the deus ex machina-- oops he's dead.

Ep2: this new young assassin seems like an interesting foil for Villanelle, which may bring stuff out of her we haven't seen yet--oops he's dead.

But this still gets a 5 because the acting is still superb. Even in a boring episode, Jodie Comer's presence leaps off the screen. And Fiona Shaw giving a controlled uncontrollable grief that appears mainly beneath the surface for most of the episode before finally spilling over. Kinda worth watching just for that.

Giving Up....
artgumbus23 April 2020
For some reason, the writers of Season 3 feel that the character Carolyn Martins is the focal point of Killing Eve.... WAY WAY WAY too much screen time is devoted to this character... who is not that very interesting....

In addition, is it me or is AMC REALLY OVERDOING the advertisements and commercials on this show? 6 straight minutes of ads? Really...? Not worth my time...

Booooo

Just awful
DiveJumpShooterUSMC12 June 2020
Seriously, truth be told this is the steepest decline in a show that I can remember. The first two seasons were refreshing, fun and quirky. By episode 6 I was hoping entire cast would somehow be on a bus that was hit by a train that then exploded. I just wanted it over with and buried. I couldn't wait until the season started and by episode 3 I would watch it a week after it aired and I even had times where the next episode had already come out but I just couldn't be bothered.

Anyhow, they just got so boring and what is the deal with the gal from game of thrones character? I don't think she did a bad job it was just a character that had no reason to exist.

Ugghh I can't even get in to writing this it is just awful And I am pretty sure if we weren't in lock down someone would have told me not to even bother. Ridiculous show that started out so well is just pathetic.

another absolutely mediocre episode - Killing Eve is ruined
This is insane. i loved loved loved killing eve. Was hoping it would pick up after the absolute disaster that was the first episode. seems to be only getting worse. The writing is truly awful. There is no story, no hooks, no snappy dialogue. A middle-schooler could do better for a class assignment. Camera-work likewise subpar. So is color-grading. And who decided to cast a 40-yr old as uni student. Just ads insult to the injury. No idea where the good ratings are coming from - have to be bots. This is truly sad.
