Allie is upset that her grandpa, Archie, has been arrested and Uncle Nathan won't let her visit him in jail. She runs away to Elizabeth's house. Elizabeth goes to find Nathan to tell him what's going on.
Jesse and Clara are busy planning their wedding, asking friends to help out and such. Clara and Rosemary ask Elizabeth to be a bridesmaid since Jesse asked Kevin to be a groomsmen. Clara ends up asking Fiona to be a bridesmaid also, so Jesse asks Hickam to be the other groomsmen. Bill is watching everyone take part and starts to wonder if he will be asked to help. Fortunately, Clara asks him to walk her down the aisle in a very sweet moment.
There is a budding relationship between Fiona and Kevin so I'm excited to see what will come of it.
Faith gets word that she only has to take 2 classes before interning with doctor Carson but she will have to take one class in Chicago. Carson is sad but supportive. They also take a selfie together ;)
Nathan is determined to find out if his dad is really guilty or not so he asks Bill to question his dad. Nathan takes off to Benson Hills to find Archies friend who payed him back on a debt. Nathan finds out the friend was using another name and he ends up being the one who stole the necklace. Nathan returns home to release his father and they have a bit of a heart to heart. Archie leaves Hope Valley but not before telling Nathan and Allie goodbye.
Elizabeth has asked Lucas to read some of the chapters of her novel and he thinks he is the inspiration of one of her characters. He finds out maybe Nathan is part of the inspiration also :)
