I think the watergate scandal is one of the biggest political and social defining moments in American history. Nixon was a big fan of the unitary executive theory and many of his actions were taken and backed under this legal POV.
You can love or hate the man but you can´t deny that his legacy still lives to this day.
In particular -as a journalist- I always studied watergate from the Woodward-Bernstein POV (and the fantastic movie All the president´s men) and I knew about Howard Hunt but this series shifts the POV and presents Watergate from the perspective of both Hunt and Liddy and does so in a dark comedic way.
The series is presented in a fast pace and with good cinematography, with interesting dialogues and for what i can tell, a good research.
This show is a must see wether you like/hate Nixon or wether you are Republican or Democrat. Watergate is a pivotal moment in American history and knowing the story from every POV is important and relevant.
