Kris Krainock has blessed this film with beautiful imagery, stunning, stills, and questions that the audience is forced to take with you in the end. A simple conversation of death leaves plenty of room on the plate for the questions you are left with at the end of the film.
A robust and comical darkness lingers throughout the short, that brings you relief when wanted. The beginning slow dance screams old Hollywood having a film child with Tarantino. In the department of color palettes, this wins me over and over.
The simple idea of a bad last meal that correlates with death is pure genius. Cannot wait for more from Krainock.
Wonderful and beautifully done.
