The documentation is about the secret service of the German Democratic Republic, the so called StaSi (= Staats Sicherheit / State Security). The German Democratic Republik was established in 1949. The Ministerium für Staatssicherheit was established 1950 and grew to the biggest secret service worldwide for several years. The StaSi did not only work inside the GDR, it also had several actions in the Federal Republik of Germany and several other states. This very worthy ducumentation shows the crude methods, actions and issues of the former inner East-German secret service. It shows that the East-German states never reappraised the Nazi-past in public. So they didn't cope with the Third Reich and therefore the new problems of the raising far-right wing comes. Every German should have seen this. It's all told in a typical sober, German way. But that makes it all in all more authentic.
