Decent episode, good performance and as always brilliant music.
Emily Dickinson slowly moving towards the fame(Alas! which she didn't get in real life) while tension b/w Sue & Austin is rising. Lavinia's story needs to be improved(Anna is doing wonderful job but her character's story needs improvement)

In honor of her publication., Emily attends a party that Sue is holding. As the night progresses, Emily begins to grow suspicious that Sam is only publishing her work so that he can hook up with her. This episode really plays up the Emily, sue Sam love triangle, and there are a few great Emily and sue moments. Here are a few things that could have been polished up. For instance, the Lavinia storyline is all over the place. I wish she would just dump the guy she is with. There also is a side race story, and it feels kind of random. If they were willing to spend a little more time developing it, it would feel less forced. However, I am willing to keep an open mind as I'm not exactly sure where they are going with it. And with that said, the show's main draw is Emily, who is forbidden to write because she is a woman. So it makes sense that her story would have parallels with African Americans of the time who were also forbidden to write. Nevertheless, this was another great episode, and Hailee looks Amazing in that red dress that she also rocked in Season 1.
