Good episode but what happened to the case?
JasonSterling2930 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a really good episode for me but I'm not sure how the case concluded. To really enjoy episodes like theses you have to have watched the characters develop from season 1. Sam seems he would be great in a leadership role it suits his personality and he has that drive and he is a good motivator to be a leader. It's sad that Nell might be going but I feel like she has been giving a bad deal, she became a special agent(I think) and had a few been in the field a few times and had some rough moments but she was tough enough to continue but now all she does is stay in Ops holding a tablet. Now much to say about the case itself but Kensi and Fatima had good chemistry and I think Roundtree could work but need to see how he develops first. He had nice banter with Deeks at the Squid and Dagger.

Might be my favorite episode this season

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked this episode. Lots of character development, lighthearted yet serious,. I guess the only downside was learning Nell might be leaving. She's one of my favorite characters and I would be sad to see her go. I like the new guy, Roundtree, but I'm not gonna get attached like I did with Hidoko only to have my heart ripped out again! It might be a tad dramatic but I'm being honest.

Fortune Favors the Brave

Warning: Spoilers
#HettysAngels Fatima and Kensi make a good team, but there is a little too much cast turnover right now if Nelle really is leaving.

Glad they resolved the Roundtree situation quickly. The episodes devoted to landmines or bombs where the person can't move are just too repetitive at this point.

Trivia/brain teaser

Warning: Spoilers
What on Earth did Deeks mean by "the number twenty, not the word"? "Devin Roundtree; twenty words, go!" "You (1) want(2) me(3) to(4) describe(5) myself(6) in(7) twenty(8) words(9) or(10) less(11)?" "Now you only have eight." "Nine." "I meant the number twenty, not the word." "Well then, ten." "Look at you, doing math in the morning."

Winds of change
Saving211 July 2020
So far season 11 is really really bad. Not like other NCIS shows where the characters left and other came in their place and there wasn't attempt to change things while the story happened . NCIS:LA is trying to change the show while showing us the new case. I'm not sure it's working. This episode was boring . I get that in season 11 there is a feel of need of a change and This episode is one leading to it but it's bad. The new characters aren't working for me even the all young guy that needs learn it's not working. Also what was the story itself? I didn't understood what was the plot ..

FBI Agent is Clueless, too many New Characters
MyEinsamkeit12 November 2022
Alright, so this episode starts off with Agent Devin Roundtree. He's suppose to be a FBI Agent. An FBI Agent knows his way around the streets, he should know how to do interrogations, well why does he come off as if he's still in training?

He looks completely clueless to what's going, when we seen him do impossible jumps, climbs in a previous episode. But in this episode he doesn't seem to know what' he's doing.

They're also bringing in way too many damn characters. I'm use to Fatima Namazi, she's pretty good. But I'm not feeling Roundtree, damn sure don't care about any of the wrestlers they keep adding to the storylines.

Hetty just mops around and does nothing anymore, Renée Felice Smith is leaving the show. Her boyfriend on the show Eric Beale, is gay we all know this, so they never made a good couple . In one episode, they wake up in bed fully dressed lol. She needs a real man , but she's leaving the show, so whatever i guess.

Anyways, i just like the 4 main agents, but some of these guests they bring in the show is awful. Get rid of Roundtree, but seems like he's in the show for good. And stop bringing in wrestlers in the show lol, they're terrible as well. Episode was pretty boring though.
