Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers for Season 2 of “The Bear,” now streaming on Hulu.
As introduced in Season 1 of “The Bear,” the lovable, loud-mouthed Cousin Richie is abrasive and stubborn. When Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) takes over his brother’s Italian beef shop and begins enacting Michelin-star leadership over its chaotic kitchen, Richie is the most resistant to change. He makes a fuss about Carmy switching mayonnaise brands. He picks childish, violent fights with his fellow chefs. He deals cocaine out of the back of the restaurant.
While Ebon Moss-Bachrach has always played the problem child of the FX kitchen drama with heart, it wasn’t until Season 2 that Richie became the heart of “The Bear.” As he fears becoming a dying breed amid Carmy’s transformation of the sandwich shop into a fine dining experience, Richie earns a worthy redemption arc and finds his purpose.

During their 3rd annual Valiant Summit, Valiant Entertainment once again gave us an amazing line up of books that will be released throughout this year, starting with last months launch of X-o Manowar and concluding with December's release of Quantum and Woody. It is important to note that Valiant Entertainment has only been around since their relaunch in 2012. They had such an impact that they won the award of Comic Publisher of the Year from Diamond Comic Distributors that same year. Now they are on the verge of bigger and better things including a YouTube series called Ninjak Vs. The Valiant Universe, a multi-movie deal with Sony which includes a Bloodshot movie and a Quantum and Woody television show that will be made by the Russo brothers, who are currently working on the next Avengers film.
They were very excited about their line up as their first title X-o Manowar #1 has already sold over 90,000 copies,...

At some point midway through the follow-up to Tim Burton’s live-action Alice in Wonderland, the heroine asks an antagonist, not sarcastically, “Can I have a moment of your time?” Moviegoer beware: if approached with such an entreaty about watching this movie, you best politely decline. This time around, Alice Through the Looking Glass, based in name only on Lewis Carroll’s sequel to his immensely popular Adventures in Wonderland, gives viewers little reason to care about the characters or their latest escapades. Despite rescuable technical elements, the film instead becomes the first big dud of the summer blockbuster season.
The movie actually begins promisingly, with a short but intense action sequence of Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) in a daring escape from chasing pirate ships. James Bobin, the director (of The Muppets fame), though showing crispness during this sea voyage, soon founders as Alice reaches land and, later, Wonderland. Alice...

Hours is one of the most relentlessly tedious films of the year. It might be more aptly named Days, for the amount of time it seems to take to crawl from its opening to closing credits. Set mostly during the chaotic aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Hours inexplicably attempts to relate the terror and uncertainty felt by those in the storm’s path by keeping its protagonist confined almost entirely to a quiet, abandoned hospital. It’s far from a winning formula, despite a strong performance from the late, lamented Paul Walker.
The film opens as Nolan Hayes (Walker) arrives at a New Orleans hospital with his pregnant wife, Abigail (Genesis Rodriguez), who has gone into early labor. When Abigail dies in childbirth and Katrina forces an evacuation of the hospital, Nolan is left to watch over his newborn baby and ensure that her ventilator remains functional. Paul may be gone, but we will still be able to remember him when one of his final movies, ‘Hours,’ is released on Dec. 13. Until then, read on to watch the trailer.
Up until the day he died in a tragic car accident, Paul Walker was doing what he loved — acting. The 40-year-old’s next upcoming movie is called Hours, and it’s set to be released just a couple short weeks after his death on Dec. 13.
Paul Walker’s Upcoming Movie, ‘Hours’
The movie is about a father (played by Paul) who fights to keep his infant daughter alive following the devastation from Hurricane Katrina.
Hours also stars Genesis Rodriguez and with the tagline, “Every second counts,” it promises to be an emotional, intense drama.
It will certainly be difficult to watch Paul on the big screen so shortly after he suddenly died in a gruesome car crash and explosion,...

Lance Armstrong and two of his publishers have escaped a class action lawsuit that proposed his books contained lies and thus represented violations of false advertisement and unfair competition laws. The lawsuit was filed in January, shortly after the former cyclist admitted to Oprah Winfrey that he had cheated on the road, winning multiple Tour de France championships. The class of plaintiffs attempted to hold him liable for It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life, published in 2000 by Penguin Group, Every Second Counts, published in 2003 by Random House, and three other books. The lawsuit contended

Hey, baby — what’s your sign? Now that the royal baby’s officially on the way, mere minutes may determine his or her astrological sign — and perhaps ruling personality.
Kate Middleton, 31, entered St. Mary’s Hospital in London along with her husband Prince William, 31, on July 22 right before 6 a.m. London time after experiencing the early stages of labor. With the pending birth right on the dividing line between astrological signs Leo and Cancer, the world is already wondering what kind of personality the baby will have!
Kate Middleton In Labor: Will Her Baby Be A Cancer Or A Leo?
Every second counts, according to Astrologer with The Association of Professional Astrologers International, Deike Begg. She tells The Daily Mail:
If the baby is born before 4:54 p.m. they will be a Cancer – like father William. But its moon will be in Capricorn – which is the same star-sign as mother Kate.

Trouble is still finding Lance Armstrong as two men who bought the cyclist's book prior to his doping confession to Oprah Winfrey are suing Armstrong, saying they "would not have purchased the books had they known the true facts concerning Armstrong’s misconduct and his admitted involvement in a sports doping scandal."
A Republican political consultant in Sacramento, Rob Stutzman, and a professional chef, Jonathan Wheeler, filed a federal class-action lawsuit in California on Tuesday against the 41-year-old athlete, who was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles late last year, the Los Angeles Times reports. "Stutzman bought the book in California and read it cover to cover. Although Stutzman does not buy or read many books, he found Armstrong’s book incredibly compelling and recommended the book to several friends," the lawsuit reads (via La Times).

Lance Armstrong has at least a couple of angry readers on his hands. A class action lawsuit against the disgraced cyclist has been filed by two men who had purchased and read Armstrong's two books, It's Not About the Bike and Every Second Counts. According to the Los Angeles Times, the suit states that they and others "would not have purchased the books had they known the true facts concerning Armstrong's misconduct and his admitted involvement in a sports doping scandal." The suit accuses Armstrong and several publishers of fraud and false advertising. After all, in the books, Armstrong denied ever using banned substances. The complaint comes just days after Oprah Winfrey's...

Lance Armstrong just can't win. No, not because he's no longer allowed to compete, but because he's facing yet another lawsuit over his doping activities.
This time readers of his bestselling autobiography, "It's Not About the Bike" have filed a federal class action lawsuit on behalf of themselves and other readers who paid money for the book believing it to be a work of non-fiction.
The lawsuit, which also mentions another Armstrong book, "Every Second Counts," alleges the defendants -- Lance and his publishers -- "knew or should have known these books were works of fiction," USA Today reports.
In "It's Not About the Bike," Armstrong denies doping claims and positions himself as a legendary athlete who overcame testicular cancer to win the Tour de France.
Armstrong recently came clean to Oprah Winfrey, admitting he did in fact use performance-enhancing drugs, and the plaintiffs in the lawsuit say they would...

Taylor Lautner stars as a young man unwittingly thrust into a deadly world of covert espionage in this new clip from Lionsgate’s action-thriller, Abduction, directed by John Singleton. For those questioning Lautner being a part of the action, mystery and suspense of Abduction, you also may be seeing the film’s hero in a new light. .First and foremost,. observes director Singleton, .people are really going to be very excited by what Taylor Lautner does as an actor in this movie. Everybody knows he’s a good-looking kid. He’s like, you know, cool and everything. But what he does as an actor in this movie, you’re able to see the growth of a new star that’s going to be around for a long time. And that’s no idle boast, either, because he’s charismatic in this movie, he’s romantic, he’s charming, and he kicked ass.

Just as he begins to piece together his true identity, Nathan is targeted by a team of trained killers, forcing him on the run with the only person he can trust, his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins). Every second counts as Nathan and Karen race to evade an army of assassins and federal operatives. But as his opponents close in, Nathan realizes that the only way he’ll survive – and solve the mystery of his elusive biological father – is to stop running and take matters into his own hands.

While the main Taylor Lautner project I'm most curious about is Stretch Armstrong, it's always interesting to see where stars go after they become known for roles in mega-franchises (and for the sake of Lautner, we're not counting the atrocious Valentine's Day). Just as Robert Pattinson is making headway in Water for Elephants and Ashley Greene is zipping along with Skateland, Lautner now has Abduction approaching, and the poster and trailer do a bit to stir up interest. It seems like director John Singleton has made his own little Bourne Identity starring the likes of Lautner, Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello, and Alfred Molina.

On Wednesday, Plain White T's stopped by the MTV Newsroom to talk about their upcoming new album (Wonders of the Younger, which is due in October), their brand new single ("Rhythm of Love," whose video just premiered and which debuted in the Billboard Hot 100 this week) and everything else in between. We'll be talking about the present and the future soon, but before we got to the new stuff, we wanted to take a look at the recent past.
Back in 2005, Plain White T's put a song called "Hey There Delilah" on their album All That We Needed. It was a sweet if unremarkable little pop tune about a distance runner named Delilah Dicrescenzo, and it sat at the end of the album while Plain White T's toured the country. Then something strange happened: It started to catch on. The band re-released the track as a bonus track on their follow-up album Every Second Counts,...
