Interesting period crime murder series
mosquitocyn28 December 2021
The Professor here is a professor of medicine and he is called upon by the metropolitan police to help solve crime murders. This mini series has a combination of the intellect and suspense in as seen in Sherlock Holmes and Silent Witness series. The viewer will no doubt see similarities in the relationship between the Professor and his assistant as with Sherlock and Watson. Very well acted and scripted. Good English subtitles and each investigation is quite captivating. There's a bit of romance to add spice into the series. Recommended to watch.

Fine Russian viewing

Very good Russian TV show. Acting is first rate. Highly recommend. I hope for a second season. The first season is only 8 episodes so perhaps we can see a few more seasons of this fine murder/mystery from Russia.

I loved this series, the characters were all likeable. It's clever, quirky and full of humour. With high production values the casting is superb the maid! Please make another season I'd love to know what happens next.

I genuinely enjoyed this series and hope that there will be subsequent episodes.

As someone who has studied history, this was a very interesting show to watch. I was actually a bit surprised by the talent of the actors and the writers, Director, and costuming I've not seen much Russian television, but if they are half as good as this program, they will probably be good as well.

Any word on when this might resume again?

The professor was played by someone who, coincidentally, looks like Vladimir Lennon to me. They could certainly use him in a film on the Russian revolution. I loved seeing all the cultural Easter, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs about Russian society, and how much more prosperous in Russians seemed to be. This was obviously a closed off socials strata for most of the only recently released surfs.

More, please!
