I do not like the way that Republican's were fit into one size fits all box in this episode. Many Republicans DO support gay rights, and they do not support every Republican policy. Like sexuality, politics are fluid as well. The media paints Republicans and Democrats as black or white, when in fact, some of us fall somewhere in the middle. While some may vote Republican, it may only be because they agree with 60% of policy. We do not have to be just BLUE or RED. We need to find more common ground between the two parties to restore the divide.
What I loved about this episode was Jeff Goldblum. He asked some hard questions to Jackie Cox about the Muslim religion. Jeff is Jewish, so to see these questions from him along with Jackie's touching response was beautiful. I was crying watching Jackie lip-synch in her hijab, and then immediately you see Jeff getting emotional. WOW! To me, this was so powerful. I will never forget this episode.
