Michael Kelleher is a very interesting character, he is sinister and intriguing, but there is one other here who trumps even him. Linda Cummings, the wonderful Linda Cummings, Gemmell is fantastic, I'd argue this is her at her very best.
It is a classic epsiode, it's exciting, tense, and has a nail biting finish, these criminals are the worst of the worst, it's quite hard to find any degree of sympathy for them. The identity of the killer comes as a real surprise, it was superbly done, definite use of misdirection.
This story is unforgiving, it makes no apologies. Not one for a sensitive viewer.
Some of the torture scenes are a little much, 2003 til about 2009 was a much more graphic time. Yes they add to the story, but are perhaps a bit much.
They give yet more layers to Eve, she's such a interesting character, her history of Bosnia etc, she's someone who's lived.
