After last episode's overreaction from Tony, we are treated to an equally predictable overreaction from Morag-although employing Colleen as a town crier probably wasn't Martha's brightest idea ever. At least Alf seems to have mellowed in his old age and seems best placed to smooth things over in Jack and Martha's absence. It also allows a nice character moment for Leah as she reflects on Dan's loss.
Having taken the Bay by storm, Nicole proceeds to take the school by storm. The way that Annie is quickly won over to her side is understandable although it's unclear why Jazz is trying to ingratiate herself. Maybe she just likes the idea of playing mum. Josh Quong Tart yet again comes close to stealing the show as Miles but the actual grand theft comes from Lincoln Lewis and Celeste Dodwell, giving beautifully sweet performances in the scene where Geoff asks Melody out. Can't wait to see Nicole's reaction to that one.
