Night Time

Rita confirms that she is pregnant and forces Dexter to analyze the pros and cons of having the baby. Dexter is also under an additional pressure, since he needs to find Freebo before Debbie or the Miami Metro detectives do once the drug dealer saw his face. When the police find a Jane Doe strangled on a dumper, Dexter recognizes her as being Freebo's girlfriend Teegan, but he omits the information about the ho to his colleagues. Meanwhile the Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado invites Dexter and Rita to have dinner with his wife Sylvia and him at his home since he wants to get inside information about the investigation. Further, Miguel's brother Ramon gets the cell phone of Freebo's mother to track any phone call from the trafficker. When Dexter visits Teegan's house, he finds that the place is the hideout of Freebo and he schedules a visit to the dealer during the night. Before leaving his home, Rita visits Dexter and tells that she will keep the baby. Dexter has a great surprise at Teegan's place.

In this second episode of the Third Season, Dexter lives a dilemma questioning how a man that brings death could bring life to the world, and the future of his son. Rita follows her instincts of mother and decides to keep the baby. Debra proves once again that she is a great detective. And let's see how the bond of Miguel Prado with Dexter will affect his "night time" work. My vote is eight.

Is Dexter's Luck Running Out?
g-bodyl10 October 2014
This is the second episode of the third season of Dexter and it slightly improves over the season opener as we get more involved in the story. If Dexter's life was good in the first episode, I would call in stressful in this episode. Dexter's luck is seeming to be running out as evidenced in this episode. Once again, Jimmy Smits is back as the ADA and he is doing a good job playing the man who wants to bring his son's killer to justice.

In this episode, "Finding Freebo," Dexter wants to locate Freebo before the police or the District Attorney does. Debra is relying on street informants to his whereabouts. Dexter finally hunts down Freebo, but once again something goes wrong. Meanwhile, Rita is confirmed that she is pregnant and now they must decide on what to do.

Overall, this is a promising episode and I think it's nice to see how Dexter tries to overcome his trouble. The final scene is excellent and I wonder what will happen further down the road. I rate this episode 9/10.

Plausible Deniability

Warning: Spoilers
1. Dex contemplating about fatherhood 2. Rita wants to keep the baby 3. Dexter potentially going to frame ADA

This episode ended with a nice twist. It's kind of a stretch that the ADA bought his story but then Dexter built a pretty good rapport with him. I'm not entirely sure how the story is going to pan out but I sure am excited for it.

Dexter also needs to deal with a child issue with Rita. Rita is a boss single mother who gives Dexter a choice (which honestly is way too generous of her).

I personally think this Freebo storyline is a little less compelling than other storylines but the involvement of the ADA makes it more interesting.

This episode begins with Dexter, Rita is official pregnant after a test. Miguel invites Dexter for a drink. Debra found out that Teegan was Freebo's girlfriend. Dexter found Freebo at Teegan's house. Rita wants to keep the baby. Dexter strangles Freebo and takes him to the garage. Dexted sticks his knife in to Freebo's troath. Miguel caught Dexter at Freebo's house, but he is not going to tell anybody. Nice episode of Dexter Season 3, another kill has been added. This time Dexter didn't make a mistake.

The End of Freebo [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
My Reaction / Review for Dexter Season 3 Episode 2 ''Finding Freebo'' (S3. E2): Episode 1 was awesome and I gave it a rating of 8.8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Dex is about to become a dad, that could be very interesting. Prado and Dex are friends now? Interesting. I think that Dex having a kid is a good idea, for him at least because for the kid I don't know if its good to have Dexter as a father. Rita thinks having this kid is a mistake? I didn't expect that. Oh she wants to keep it, that's good, i want Dex to be a dad. Wow Prado meets Dexter at the crime scene? This is insane. Prado loves the fact that Dex killed Freebo, nice. Overall an amazing episode, my rating is 9/10.

Dex: This department is becoming annoying effective.
antisocial125 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Deb: Nice watch. Knockoff? Quinn: Me? No. Real thing only. I sold a kidney in Ghana. I'll show you the scars sometime. Deb: I'll give you a kidney not to. :)

Angel: My little girl is the best thing I ever did. I've messed up a lot. But in my darkest hours, Auri's my light.

Deb: I'm a cop! that's all I need! I'm not gonna do any f***ing scrap-booking! you got it? Javier: Scrap-booking? :D Deb: What's her name? Javier: I don't know! b*tch, c*nt, "hey, you. " Chick: Yeah?

Rita: It's time for a decision, Dexter. Having this child.. is a huge mistake, I've weighed out all the pros and cons, and all I've got are cons. Dex: I've been thinking the same thing. Rita: I'm keeping it. Good way to get the truth hehe.

Dex kills Freebo, Miguel runs into him with a knife and blood, and thanks him. Probably the weakest episode to this point in the series, but still quality viewing.
