"there's no way they can solve a murder on an airplane in 4 hours!' Yeah and?

Is this episode realistic? Absolutely not. Is it campy and fun? Frick yeah.

Hey Bones Booth Pod!

Haha nice try Booth but go back to coach. Going to competitive karaoke with Daisy mmm no thanks. You could be a little sympathetic to the flight attendant who found the body Bones. Caroline isn't messing around this ep. Ofcourse Angela and Hodgins could get all that from a picture of a bandaid. Having lunch with Danny Devito isn't relevant Howard but very cool. Surprise the cheating husband doesn't want his sick wife to find out.

The episode takes place on a jumbo jet headed for Shanghai. Bones and Booth are there on their ways to study some ancient bones. However, things get circumvented by the appearance of a "baked" body of a woman who was killed and placed in a big convention/microwave oven. The charm of the episode involves the unwitting participation of the passengers and a digital connection to the lab. On several occasions, scientific methods must be created from everyday objects. At one point, Booth has to ask the passengers for dental cream, baby powder, and a butane lighter. Of course, at times, Brennan can't get past her tunnel vision.

They are on a plane, and if they land somebody will get away with murder, lost in a land with billions of people where they may never be found! Yep, it seems Booth and Brennan can go nowhere without getting involved in murder - like when they find the woman in the oven. The first time I watched this episode, I was shocked at the person who was guilty.

The references about them being a couple are getting more and more frequent. They are accused of such twice, and still in deep denial, though we know they have been a couple for several years now...

I have a lot of favorite scenes in this episode. I will name two: 1. When Booth is making the arrest and trying to do so before the plane touches down. He does it quickly and adds '...because this is the United States of America!" Then everyone starts clapping. Very dramatic!

2. When Brennan's wearing the glasses, Booth is taken aback and gets very, very flirty with her. I thought he was going to kiss her!

Excellent episode!

The One With The Murder On The Plane...

Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this episode. It's so inventive. And intelligent, even though every episode of Bones is intelligent.

In this episode, Bones and Booth are on a plane, flying to China, so Bones can identify some remains. But whilst they're on board, a person ends up dead. In an oven. Yeah, an oven. That's a nice burial place. Anyway, Booth and Bones investigate the murder of this unidentified person, and time is running out. They can't let the passengers off the plane until the murder is solved. So they only have hours to determine who killed this person, and why.

I love how it's different from other Bones episodes. Because they have a really big time crunch. Whereas, normally, they have at least a day or two.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10. One of the best Bones has to offer.

Hiya Bones Booth Pod!

I know this isn't necessarily a bottle episode but it has that kind of feel to it and I love it so so much. Caroline, a limited time to solve the murder, Hodgela, B&B, Angela and Roxie, all of it is just perfect.

Also, Charlotte, the murder-obsessed lady sitting next to Booth on the plane, was great, she really stole the show for me.

Booth, like the chancer he is, tries to get into first class and sit with Brennan twice at the beginning of the episode which is very in character and entertaining.

Hearing all the Jeffersonian team's weekend plans was very interesting, especially Sweets with his competitive karaoke, and so was Hodgins and Sweets' little back and forth about Angela and Roxie.

Since murder follows them wherever they go, B&B find a body on their flight to China and have to solve it within a matter of hours before jurisdiction becomes a bit messy.

Brennan trying to communicate with Kate the flight attendant right after she finds the body is absolutely hilarious. "Bones, she's in shock not deaf" will always get me.

Not sure if I wanted or needed to know that Booth has a librarian fantasy/kink but that scene was pure gold, in particular when Brennan did what Booth told her to do once he left the room.

That little Hodgela moment where they almost say "I love you" to each other is so upsetting, since it's obvious that they're both still harbouring feelings for one another despite how much time since their break-up has passed. And the conversation that followed that was perfect. Firstly, Hodgins not invalidating Angela and Roxie's relationship was really great, and definitely showed how much he's grown since season 1. Second, Angela explicitly stating that she can fall in love with both men and women is just !!

Caroline is all over this episode and brings so much to every scene she's in as always.

Angela asking Roxie to move in with her was definitely way too quick. Maybe she's just forcing herself to move on from Hodgins by trying to prove to Roxie that she's all in and taking such a massive step so early in their relationship. Whatever the reason behind it is, Roxie rejects her proposal and they decide to just see where things go before taking it to the next level.

Overall, a very strong episode. Completely insane and could never happen in real life but I love it anyway. 10/10.

Hi Bones Booth Podcast.

English Jan here!

Wow, there is so much to talk about in this episode.

Poor Booth stuck in coach, sandwiched between two old ladies. I just wonder why Bones didn't offer to upgrade him to first-class or at the very least business class? She could certainly have afforded to do so.

A worried Booth is bothered by Bone's announcement of her real passion. Poor Both thought it was him; what a shock to find out that it's prehistoric anthropological discovery. Booth is now concerned that Bones is sick of working with him. His poor shattered male ego. Bone's does offer him some comfort.

Booth is obviously shaken by all this and is temporarily unable to identify the material in the oven as a human body. Really? Come on, people, this is the fourth season. Surely Booth has seen enough bodies by now to recognise a body when he sees one.

The obnoxious teen's parents don't react when he threatens to take Booth down, which I find strange.

There are many reasons to love this episode. Here are my seven reasons.

The wonderful old lady in coach and her enthusiasm for Murder and for all the help she gives Booth & Bones during the flight.

Caroline Julian - No need to say any more.

The Bone's/ Booth glasses scene. The fact that Booth cannot answer Bones when she asks him why. And that she does what he asks her to do after he leaves. -Priceless!

Dr Sweets working his sociological mojo in the interview room.

Angela and Hodgins were tiptoeing around each other in the lab.

Booth argues with Caroline (Brave man) about the arrest just seconds before landing.

The end scene again steals the show. Booth gets his way. Bone's is returning to D. C. with him to work with him.

Did you spot the Blooper?

When Bone's asks Booth for Vodka- Booth gets two bottles from the Teenager. You can clearly see that one is not vodka. Someone must have been thirsty on the set. Why didn't they just replace it with some water?

No hope

I can normally forgive the corniness/imaginative things that happen, it's an easy watch after all.

After watching the British episodes I honestly didn't think there could be a worse episode until this one.

It lacks all common sense and seems to be for anybody that has never seen a plane before let alone been on one.

I honestly can't cope with how bad it was my head was in my hands most of the episode please just skip this one it won't affect the series at all, just give you a little more respect for it.
