This was another excellent "Schoolhouse Rock!" segment called "Three Is a Magic Number"
tavm2 August 2011
Just watched this "Schoolhouse Rock!" on YouTube. This was from the first season when it was called "Multiplication Rock". The song emphasizes the number 3 as in how a camera tripod and a table has three legs, a triangle has three sides, when a man and a woman have a baby-there are three in the family. Also, you learn what numbers are in multiples of three as shown by football players running through a cave with the numbers on their shirts printing those multiples. Written and sung by Bob Dorough, the song is charming with animation to match. These were so much fun to watch on ABC in between their various Saturday morning programs. So on that note, "Three Is a Magic Number" is well worth a look.
