#STEALTH is a brainteasing. Fun ride around Saint Petersburg, with the Vosk flair for comedy and surprises. As we accompany Cucumber on his travels to find his brother, and he becomes ensnared in the life of his brother's "girlfriend", we meet a plethora of interesting characters and some confusing scenarios. Anna Bachelova, who plays the gf, is a superb actress and carries the role impeccably. The humour, imagery and metaplot will keep you engaged throughout, to the mindbending climax. Winner of 2 score or more awards, and - although you can't tell from the cinematic quality - shot entirely on an iphone, #STEALTH is probably the best film to come out of Russia for many years. I can't wait for Vosk's next feature, if this debut film is anything to go by.
