XY is about a man dealing with his demons. A photographer sits on a bed in a hotel room reflecting as well as waiting for a young female model to arrive.
What he sees are several divergent viewpoints of how things will progress with the meeting he has arranged with the model. He sits and views himself greeting the young woman civilly and offering a drink. Another time line as him being aggressive to the model who is clearly doing this for money. A situation that leads to violence.
Clearly disgusted with himself as to how things may turn out, what will he do when the model arrives to the room?
This five minutes short is effective enough and though provoking on the dark thoughts lurking in the mind of a man.
