One of the reasons for the success of this series, was because the main protagonist was really a simple girl/actress, so people could identify her with the role of a simple, popular girl. Also, the series was shot at the beginning of the financial crisis and many people identified with the worries, fears, but also the dreams that an everyday girl like Litsa had. She did live in an old house, with the shooting actually taking place in a slum. Addiotionally, let's not forget, that in other serials there are also "next door" people, but their apartments are as if they were built by... Spyros Soulis. Beyond that, from the title alone, it goes without saying that you should not have special expectations regarding the script and the plot, but at least I say that we finally saw a series that not everyone stays in Ekali, that not everyone is in the hair, that not everyone has solved their problems. For that alone, 8 of me.
