Take My Life, Please is an okay episode. I have watched 10 other Season 20 episodes, and there is 1 bad, 4 okay, 3 good, and 3 really good episodes. This episode falls in the okay category. This episode is interesting, but it's not great. There was a lot of humor, but I gotta say, this episode is still okay. Besides all that, there is something else about this episode that I need to address to too. The new intro and the new animation. This is the first Simpsons episode with the new HD animation. I gotta say, the new animation is really pretty, but I like the older animation though. The original animation from the earlier season is very rough and loose, but that's why I like it. It's not pitch perfect, like the new computer animated animation, but the flaws make it great. The new animation is just too perfect. But you can get used to it after a while though, like most people have for like 14 or 15 seasons. Also now there is a new intro to. The intro in the Simpsons has been changed 2 times ( well, unless you count the Christmas intros ). The first time the intro was changed was in Season 2. Season 2 changed a lot from Season 1 in the Simpsons. Some examples include Homer's voice changing and the new intro. Everyone in the 'new' Season 2 intro was from Season 1. That was the first time the Simpsons changed there intro. The next time is in the middle Season 20. Like the case with the Season 2 intro, every character was from the past 19 Seasons. To me it feels weird that the creators added the new animation and intro at the middle of Season 20. They should have added it at the start of Season 20. In fact, they should have added it at the start of Season 19. In all, I give this a 6.5 out of 10.

Take My Life,Please is a great Simpsons episode with a nicely written storyline and several very funny scenes.It is sort of a depressing episode,certainly the most emotional of the twentieth season,as we see Homer getting upset about his life decisions and wishing things had gone better for him.It still is a funny episode and all the effort he goes through to find out who really won his school president election is very ridiculous and it was funny to see how much Homer cared.Take My Life,Please is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

Jealous of a former school mate won who against him in a school election years ago,Homer gets depressed about his current life and tries to find out how things could have been.
