Wihout being outright insulting, the set-ups with acting that precede the 4 XXX scenes in this edition of WSW are extremely poor. One wonders why hiring a pro scriptwriter is such a taboo at the Girlfriends Films label.
DVD opens with a two-parter that is silly. Beautiful blonde Adriana Sephora bores friend Veruca James with chatter about how she thinks about and dreams about women when she's with her boyfriend. She then indicates she's contacted a porn star (Prinzess) using the Net Skirts website and invited her over for a visit. At this point the loyal viewer, like myself, is apt to wonder if this is another shelved vignette shot originally for the "Net Skirts" series.
P shows up with a beautiful blonde accompanying her: Brea Bennett, who years before had been a popular star for Girlfriends in this series as well as the very first edition of "Net Skirts". P goes upstairs to initiate Adriana in the ways of sex, and then supervises Veruca and Brea in same.
After that dumb pair of XXX scenes blows over, a complex but and unconvincing segment stars Valentina Nappi who speaks in halting English while meticulously planning a seduction. She's chatting with Aaliyah Love about Love's boyfriend Tony who happens to be "like a brother" to Nappi. His name is mentioned frequently but Tony never shows up on screen, not to disturb the all-female casting.
An extra character, a brunette, talks separately to Nappi, and a subplot of Aaliyah refusing to give Tony a blow-job crops up. This is much discussed, and goes nowhere, while Nappi plots to replace Aaliyah with the brunette as his new girlfriend. She informs Aaliyah that this is a fait accompli and then seduces Love for herself.
All this nonsense just to present the Aaliyah/Valentina sex scene promised on the DVD's menu is ridiculous. I was left hanging as to the identity of the brunette, but luckily she is name-dropped as "Teal" late in the segment, meaning porn's only Teal -Conrad is the actress. In the usual "Our Girlfriends" minute round-up at the end of the show she is pictured in the shot with Valentina, but unlike the other seven cast members her name is left off, per Girlfriends' dumb practice of giving no credit to performers unless they have explicit sex on screen.
Final vignette is poor programming, as Prinzzess returns as a mousey maid working for redhead BDSM star Claire Adams. Not only does it contradict our having watched Prinzzess playing a porn star, but the seducing of the maid gambit is one of Girfriends Films' cornier ploys. Claire looks bad, out of shape, but does her thing with a strap-on dldo to listless Ms. P.
