Some lovely visuals by cameraman Dennis Madden enhance this slight tale of a couple of Italian boys who dive for money in the harbor, clamber into a row boat and drift far from shore where they find.... well, see it yourself and admire the images.

One of the pleasures of modern film making is that with computer editing, color levels, including saturation, can be adjusted, an ability that was lost when the Technicolor process was abandoned in the 1970s. In this one the bright chroma of the print emphasize the viewpoint of the characters and add a nostalgic prettiness to a basically gruesome story.

the biggest fish

The lead virtue - the two boys. And the natural way to translate in images the childhood spirit. And, sure, the story. Simple, dramatic, poetic, convincing. And the Mediteraneean air. An adventure. And a meet with "the biggest fish", a suitcase and few photos. The dialogues. And the lovely atmosphere. And the reactions to challenges. A so simple story... . With admirable details and precise construction.

Lovely film with beautiful scenes and sequences. A very lovely short film.

The film follows two beautiful bright young boys who goes on a adventure at sea. They are both adorable brothers. They soon discover something surrounding their childhood lives. A'Mare was written and directed by Martina Amati. Also written by Dario Cané. A'Mare was a beautiful film because it tells a good story of two bright young brothers who goes on a childhood adventure at sea and soon discovers something and they try to figure out what it is. Andrea Puglisi and Felice Puglisi are two great boy actors did great in this film. I recommend this film to everyone

Andrea and Felice should be in more films and short films. They both are bright and brought on good acting and confidence throughout this film. I also would like to say Abdul Majid did great too as well. A'Mare is 100% a good short film. A must see!
