Why does childrens movie need to be bad to be a children movie?

Warning: Spoilers
This film is without a doubt for children, it is just a pity that the setting is back in the Viking Age and onwards, a setting that they also take seriously. The problem is that they have no control over Danish history at all.

First, they say that the action in the past is 1000 years ago, but since the film in its present day does not perish in 1937, it makes no sense at all. Furthermore, in general, all plot elements that need to push the story forward are filled with errors.

There is also something completely plot centrally wrong with the film. Why does the Wolf use the cross for its incantation, when Christianity was firstly new at that time, and secondly, that Vølven had contempt for Christianity. It makes no sense since the spell had been in Vølven family for hundreds of years.

The acting is generally really poor, and at best mediocre. The antagonist is miserable, and at no time scary, not even for a child.

Conclusion: It is, to say the least, a movie full of flaws, poor CGI, poor acting with a poor antagonist. Furthermore, the film has a poor approach to Danish history.

A nice movie with a little history.

A brother and sister travel through time to find a cross that will help an immortal from the Viking age to die.

Great play, especially by Clara Maria Bahamondes and a good chance to get teenagers to learn a little Danish history. The film is good for children and young people aged 7 to 12 years.
