Not Joelle again!
sharpes_mistress30 May 2021
Will someone please just kill Joelle? She's the most pointless and annoying character in the whole show. She pops up like a bad penny every and again, Callan immediately trusts her, only for her to let him down. You'd think by now he'd have learned his lesson.

Believe only what you see?

Am I as confused as you are? Or maybe I'm not really me, and once I figure iut who I am everything will be just fine. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for that margarita. Hold on, is the bar open? Are masks still required?

Song in the beginning
Cobaltul13 June 2021
I don't know where else to look. Maybe i can find someone here who can PLEASE tell me what is the song that is playing in the beginning, when they are at the bar.

Searched everywhere for the lyrics, shazam, soundhound, and nothing.

Thank you !

Warning: Spoilers
So, this episode definitely piqued my interest early on, but it got a little boring and we got sidetracked from the case at hand very quickly. Almost anything with Joelle really ends up boring these days as the franchise does not need her anymore.

They also made the CIA look absolutely ridiculous here, and insulted our intelligence with how absurd their coverups went. They really pretended to blow up one of the victims just to fool Sam Hanna? I just don't buy it.

Still very watchable, the show has been getting better as it heads toward the finish line this year, but definitely not anything to write home about.

Are the writers trying to make the team look stupid?

Warning: Spoilers
So what was the point of this story? Isn't a writer job is to make our characters look smart and efficient ? So after 12 years of working together, after the years of experience of callen as CIA operative and Sam as navy seal both of them are getting played by the CIA? After both of them got played in the past by the Rouge CIA in earlier seasons? Really?? And only in the end Callen thought of calling his CIA contacts? I can try to understand Sam not really looking in to it, but Callen?? After we know Callen is supposed to be this amazing secret agent? So he is that trusting ?? We finally hear Anna's name again after the all Katya mess, Why don't we know how are things going between Anna &Callen, both of them went trough something and no one asked Callen about it ,he had no personal talk in the last episodes since it happened. It feels the writers don't know how to write or don't want to write for Callen anymore .. The one thing we do know is Kensi and Deeks trying to have a baby!!!! Every episode we hear about it I like Kensi&Deeks I do but it feels they are taking more centre stage than the other characters Callen Sam and what about Nell??

A complete waste of time
MyEinsamkeit30 November 2022
Is the budget getting low?

There's two scenes with Kensi and Deeks having discussions about having a baby. Both scenes was about 10-15 mins and no I'm not lying. I wonder if the budget is getting low because Season 12 is the worse season, there's hardly any action anymore. Its like watching a soap drama now.

This entire episode was a complete waste of time because the entire time everything was faked and staged and everyone was CIA agents, even though most of the cast look like grocery store workers.

Also what's up with Roundtree and his appearance in clothes? Neither him or Fatima look like agents, they both look some high school kids. Get rid of these two please. , but considering they both are in season 13 and 14 seems not likely. Hopefully if NCIS LA has a season 15 they will go back to the roots and just have the main 4 characters.

The only bright spot of the episode was actor Brian Thompson. He even looked like he didn't want to be on the set, probably just needed the money lol.

Very boring episode, i skipped scenes throughout the episode and Kensi and Deeks baby storyline is tiresome, who cares already.
