This episode had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'm glad several people know so many of the secrets (as we do) and I'm interested to see how it continues to play out. The ending scene was fantastic!

Season 2 was just ok for me, but this episode was so good! It was emotional, fun, and and a huge thrill all at the same time. This episode was my favorite in the whole show. I was sad when Erin died, but the rest of of them episode was a thrill, and it was fun watching everyone running around in the maze. Love this!!!
Characters making stupid choices all over just to serve lazy writers

Warning: Spoilers
Gabe saw Erin's letter and decides to leave to save her, despite knowing his enemies are right there... He could have solved this with a phone call, warning all his friends who are there already, keeping himself save.
Erin's choice to take matters in her own hands is completely random. Why would she go out by herself and not take the opportunity to connect with her dear friends to strategize a move? Why the secrecy? Just to set her up as a martyr now she was 'freed'? That's too much on the nose for crying out loud!
This stuff keeps happening. It's a cop-out. Good writing means that despite all the smart moves each character makes, someone's getting the upper hand. A game of chess by two skilled chess players. In this show not so much.
The annoying little kid ending up in the maze was also contrived. He could tell the little girl he is worried about specific things but can't explain these to her just yet. No, instead, again 'secrecy' to advance plot while it could be avoided with clear communication.
I'm now into hate-binch-watching this show, a very odd phenomenon.

More unnecessary choices

Warning: Spoilers
As other reviewers have said, bad character decisions really let this show down. Kinsey needs a plan to manage Gabe, and ends up acting incredibly sketchy around him. How about this? "Sorry Gabe. I thought I was over Scott, but he's the one I love. Let's take some time out for now." That would be a perfectly plausible get-out.
The problem is, any 'dilemma' in this show could easily be solved by a relatively simple alternative. There's no need for Jackie to remember magic. There's no need to tell anyone else about the keys. There's no need for Duncan to get his memories back. In fact, there's really no need for any of the major plot points. And so the whole thing becomes both tedious and repetitive.
