So, Jonah and Martha spend the episode stuck down a mineshaft.Which is as good a way as any for them to sort out their differences. The retcon of Michael's personal history is okay up to a point but revealing that he didn't rape Tasha after all, he just thought he did, is a bit of a cop out.Especially since this show seems to think every other rapist should be forgiven if they just say they're sorry afterwards.
Up top, Bruce seems curiously disinterested for Michael's safety as the episode's small cast search for Martha.Alf and Irene's insistence on blaming Jonah for everything succeeds in driving a wedge between them and Bruce.Annie gets some good material with Scruffy and even manages to stand up to Geoff, who seems a bit too ready to believe Irene's version of events.
