I'll never forget Madeline Kahn screeching that in previews of this short lived sitcom that lasted 3/4 of a season yet garnered the veteran stage and screen star great reviews. I just saw one of the funniest ladies to come out of the entertainment industry in the last half of the twentieth century, Kahn seemed ideal to make the transition into being a sitcom star, and the premise of it sounded promising.

The first aired episode finds her literally in hot water (through a neighbor's shower) when she goes to retrieve the diary left behind of her friend Francine Tacker's at the home of her ex-husband. Comedy gold ensues when Kahn is trapped in the bathroom, left wearing nothing but a towel and must find her way out. James Sloyan, as her handsome husband, is the archetype for many a TV sitcom husband. The scene where they both find themselves wearing the same towel from the same bathroom (and not their own) is quite amusing.
