Cute remake of the French romantic comedy Le Sauvage (1975)
AdemAyakta23 July 2009
This a hurried Remake of the French romantic comedy Le Sauvage (1975) from Jean-Paul Rappeneau, who is a master of this genre. A Novelist needs a quiet place for writing his new masterpiece... And a Bride runs from her Bridegroom and his piqued family just after her engagement. The Novelist and the Bride meeting on a Island near Istanbul. Soon enters the hot Bridegroom and his family to the Island with tumultuous results. Not a bright example of superior film-making but often funny and watchable... Gülsen Bubikoogu who plays here the runaway Bride was a Queen of romantic flicks trough 1970's in Turkey. Cüneyt Arkin and Tarik Akan, two handsome and very skilled actors were often her screen partner.
