Fun. Westernly. Exciting
ldamena28 June 2021
It was funny seeing the Legends at each others throats and Nate trying to be peacemaker lol. Ava took Sara's secret extremely well not surprising tho. But, she was worried about her. Loved the western setting: David Ramsey did a great jobb directing.

Messing 4th wall as good as messing history
RainbowLynx11 December 2021
I really love that Legend's creators are not afraid of making experiments that become memorable even after many episodes.

Story with an alien is not so interesting here, but we finally got always positive Nates with his true speech about what he thinks about legends.

Constantine gets Annoying, and I think it is done on purpose, so viewers will love him less.

But after you finish watching this episode, the only thing that will be in your memory - a cowboy narrator. Another great moment, when Legends mess with 4th wall, just like they mess with history. Can't give this episode less than an eight, because I love legends and I love 4th wall jokes. But without cowboy it would have a 3 out of 10.

Cowboy Narration Guy is the best!
wetmars7 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The ship has detected unnormal anatomy in Oklahoma, 1891. The Legends arrive there keeping a low profile. I love the Wild West vibes. One of my favorite settings. They enter through the good old Saloon. Spooner detects no alien anatomy. They are gradually accepted by the town folk singing a song. Never seen Constantine with Gary. Can we please have more of them? Spooner and Astra take to the alien. Looks like we have ten rules. The Alien is changing history. Sara asks the old guy who is this guy just until the Sheriff arrives to meet his visitors. The Legends suspect the Sheriff as an alien. Spooner unleashes a good damn earthquake, a giant creature pops up and eats one of the men since one of the rules has been broken. What a strange town indeed. Sara questions Gary about the alien that lives underground. Gary gives out an explanation on how to deal with it, take it with a whistle as the Sheriff did. The steel man proposes a dance contest. Astra and Spooner stay on the ship. Gary and Constantine join in. One of the rules is broken, again and again, the worm starts to freak out, but stops. Sara challenges the Sheriff a duel. Spooner follows Astra to go 'em gold getting what they want. The Duel finally starts between the two. The Sheriff quickly fires at her head. Then it heals since she's immortal. This is giving me some 80s horror slasher vibes. The Sheriff is eaten up by the creature. Hold on for a god damn moment, Diggle as the wanted cowboy? A shoot-out happens again between the Legends and the Girl and Bartender. Maybe the creature likes gold. (( I forgot to type more of the plot into my notes, whoops. ))

Thoughts?

I love the Wild West settings, the great character dynamic, and it's highly enjoyable.

10/10.

Plot device worm
ilpo-surokivi7 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Otherwise good episode but there's one thing that annoyed me. Why does the worm only attack when the plot needs it to attack? Astra and Spooner fight in the woods apparently near the nest and the worm does not care. Villain gets upset on the street, no worm. Every time a hero is angry in the saloon, ooo...tension. Worm might attack.

Annoying cowboy singing
jbenavideslizano28 June 2021
The episode was good. It felt like the first season in some moments but the man singing was really annoying and it distracted from the story.

Not the Best Western
afrisco29 June 2021
Average. Messy story. The climax to the anger and the Legends waiting out the standoff felt contrived instead of meaningful. Astra felt like old Astra.

Didn't actually mind Gary in this episode. John's about to have a solo mission.

David Ramsey did a great job directing, especially coordinating the square dancing scene, but his character, Bass Reeves, was sorely underused. Felt like a featured extra instead of a featured player.

Glossed over all the important conversations between Sara and the rest of the team. They teased Zari 1.0, so hoping she comes back for a bit!

Just sick brainwash episode
leptilic12 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
1. First of all, Real Sara is dead and somehow we have her lover completely to be ok with alien hybrid clone? Sick... 2. A female character saying to male character "what makes you believe you have jurisdiction to order us". Male character response "yeah thats sound strange". SIck 3. Episode that try to convince us being good is "strange". Sick.

4. Entire show is a goofy, not even related to real heroism. Legends? More happy trigger immoral jokers...

Deep state has really gone wrong. Reeeaaaaaallllyyyy.
