It's the only thing that stopped this otherwise amazing episode from getting a higher score. The music is boring and a waste of time, especially when we could of had a Kirby VS Alexis catfight. Dynasty needs to stick to its core which is 1. Business, 2. Drama and 3. Backstabbing, fights and catfights. S1 and S2 had the right idea of only singing 2/3 times a season. S3 went off the rails and is a big reason there isn't more people talking about the show, because they stopped at the noir episode.

Absolutely amazing

This is the perfect balance of drama, business and comedy. This feels like the Dynasty lacking in S3. Only complaint is Fallon singing, it doesn't belong on the show, it's out of place and is Liz only playing Fallon to further her music career? I mean why else keep the music.... Anyway, solid episode and can't wait to see what happens to Dominique and Alexis next, they steal the show!
Alexis vs Kirby

This is what the audience deserves! After the mockery of Aunt Alexis last season, we got ruthless Alexis in s1 writing style. This episode reminds me of 1x18 and 1x19 when Alexis did everything powerful to separate Steven and Sam first and then Fallon and Liam. Kirby is finally given what she deserves. I love how they incorporated some elements of OG Sammy Jo in reboot Kirby specially this season. I was never a fan of how they turned Heather Locklear's character into a male version who has little to nothing of his OG counterpart. On the other hand, reboot Kirby is a character whom the her friends think needing protection while she can actually outsmart the Carringtons easily like in this episode. Among the 3 side characters of the show (Sam, Kirby and Culhane) she's actually the one who has the best material so if someone needs to leave in order to make room for other series regular like Dex to appear, it has to be one of the other 2. Last but not least, whoever combined the scenes with Alexis throwing sushi and Fallon punching Nash is a genius!!
Elizabeth Gillies is..

The ONLY acceptable person to ever sing in TV shows where I'm concerned. I always hate characters needing to show they can sing in scripted TV. And entire episodes when they're musical always get a 1 star with one exception to the rule. But I could listen to Elizabeth Gillies any and all the time. True talent, just stupid gifted.
