I found this movie on Tubi and I thought I would give it a watch. Movies on free streaming sites can be a bit hit-and-miss, this one though was definitely a hit. It is slow and there are no real jump scares, it relies more on atmosphere, a good story, and solid acting. The story is a simple one, a family who is experiencing some stress, the father has lost his job and the mother is away working. They hire a vacation house that seems to be haunted by the ghost of a young bride who had died after being trapped in an old trunk. Their young daughter seems to be slowly taken over by the spirit, becoming obsessed with weddings and wedding dresses. She also grows more hostile toward her mother. Carolyn Baeumler as Heather, Victor Verhaeghe as Don, and Acadia Bost as Iris are all good as the mother, father, and their daughter. The owners of an antique store. Tammy Faye Starlite as Muriel and Hal Robinson as George are great as well. This is a movie you have to be patient with. There are not many really scary moments, more just a feeling of unease. I think there will be people that will find it too slow, but I enjoyed it, just don't expect bloody horror, it's not that kind of movie.
