Maxine decides to end the affair with Luke, upset over the necklace incident she decides that enough is enough. When Helen announces that she's going to Paris for a week, Luke spots an opportunity, but Maxine refuses to play ball.
I thought there was a little bit more promise in this series after the changes in cast, but sadly it's fallen away again, the jokes just don't land, and this affair just seems impossible now, you question if they even like, let alone love one another.
On the plus side, it was good to see Gilly Flower again, and also nice to see former Silent Witness actor William Gaminara in a small role, and looking rather dashing.
As for Helen, early on she was the most interesting character of them all, sadly she's fallen into the trap of being the convenient, grumpy stay at home wife, she initially seemed so perceptive, now she's just.
5/10.
