First question: Why is this called The Hunt? There's ZERO hunting in it, unless you count the audience hunting for some decent acting to watch.

Second question: why was this even released as "The Hunt" when it already existed as "The 7th Hunt"? I'm serious. Go search YouTube for The 7th Hunt and queue it up beside this, then sync them and tell me there's a difference other than a final scene with The Hacker while the end credits play. That's literally the only difference.

Oh well, at least it's not Birdemic, or The Room, or one of the countless Christian Film rip-offs of Hollywood movies....

This movie is somewhat okay and even though it looks like a 90s movie rather than a 2021 movie it is not that bad. The settings was straight out of the 90s. I must say i haven't seen those old school phones in quite a while. Well it is your basic kidnap and torture movie but then they decided to choose people who they know instead of random strangers that they did earlier. There was a good plot twist that made the movie interesting cause one of the abductors was for and against the organisation. I liked the way he played with the mindset of the two victims appealing to their senses. Gave it a five mainly because it wasn't a bad movie but it could be weary on the eyes and the actors weren't that good and neither was the script but in all it wasn't a bad movie. You should watch it if you are into late 90s early 2000s type of movie. There isn't much gore and what was shown wasn't really anything to talk about and no nudity at all which wouldn't have been necessary.

Make no mistake title is completely misleading. It's horror porn, but there's very little of a story, if any? No hunt just torture and gross scenes. Miserable.

Badly shot. Badly written. Not enjoyable, even if you like terrible horror movies. It's trying to rip off Hostel, The Hunt (an actually great film of the same name), and Wolf Creek.

The shots are flat and visually uninteresting. The dialogue is just straight up uninspired. Australian cinema has better to offer than this. This brings great dishonour to the Australian arts scene.

Even the gore is boring. I can usually forgive a movie if at least the gore is entertaining. This looks like it was shot on an iPod touch and tomato sauce was used for blood. I spent the whole movie rooting for everyone's boring deaths. I'm unsure why it's even called The Hunt. There is no hunting.

Only watch it cause i though it was a movie with the same name and was so boring i almost pass out.

The all movie you only see about 10 people was a waist of my time watching this movie.

I watch a lot of horror. Hence, in relative terms this film, despite being low budget, is a perfectly acceptable and watchable film. The movie was of course absurd in places and there were plot holes the size of a very large elephant, but nonetheless it was entertaining. I am never quite sure what people expect or how they derive a score of 1 out of 10 when you compare this film to some of the utter rubbish out there,

So if you like this type of film, of which there are many, I would not be put off by these negative reviews. Certainly, this movie is not original and the topic has been done better but still an okay effort.
