Molly is sad and doesn't know why. The monsters try all sorts of silly tricks to help her. Then her Papa tells her that being sad is okay sometimes, and that cheers her up.

Molly wants to play instead of going for a walk. Papa solves the problem by bringing the toys. Dropping the toys attracts other monsters. They all have a picnic.
