I have seen the film on HBO Max and it was a deep experience. It is beautiful and horrifying at the same time, it makes you appreciate the precious moments of your own life more and the beauty and horror of life (and death) itself. I could recommend it to the viewers who like a somewhat unconventional look at the horrors of Germany in the early 1940s through the individual lense of a deeply religious and artistic man, who choose a painful and brave path with his family.
