unbelievable

This shortie in 15 minutes easily outdoes bigger brothers. excellent top- notch family drama. the short films seem to be filling the void left by blockbusters and other big cinema projects. I've seen this on Future shorts film festival in Moscow (35mm cinema) - Winter 2010. And this is my favourite. I highly recommend FutureShorts to short film lovers as all works there are selected and are top quality (i'd give 6/10 minimum on IMDb scale). Many works seen there come close to this one, but none touches that deeply. If you would like to see some of the Russian shorties which are as well of excellent quality (to my surprise i should say,as I just returned from the award ceremony for Russian short films). I would recommend - Boiling Point (by Youlia BOGORAD, 2009) , Tram Avenue (documentary by Sofia GEVEYLER. 2010) and other prize-winners of MSFF

the happiness

That kind of short movie giving a powerful story, answers to many questions, wise definitions. A single father. His sons. His birthday made by the younger boy. And the accident changing everything. A film about happiness proposing the perfect portrait of deep loneliness. All is...magic, from the story to the impecable performances. All is a perfect lesson about small, significant details defining each from us.
