Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, have opted for an animal-free lifestyle and are now starting to encourage their kids, Ella, 10, and Quinn, 6, to do the same. However, they are a little less impressed with the green diet.
"Ben and I make these green drinks in the morning and they look at us like it's from another planet," Taylor said.
Both kids have begun to add more plant-based foods to their diet, but Taylor has been given the hard task of dealing with their picky tastes.
"My daughter loves veggies but doesn't love fruit. My son loves fruit but doesn't love veggies."
However, Taylor admits she wishes she had encouraged her family to go on a veggie diet much sooner.
"We have friends that are vegan and their kids came out vegan," she said. "I'm so jealous they had the information and they started the kids early because now to go back,...

As the countdown to next week's British Academy Television Awards begins, Abi Morgan, screenwriter of The Hour, Shame and The Iron Lady, reveals why it's been a golden year for television
Mabel is unimpressed. "What are you doing?" "Writing a piece about television." "Hm." She considers me with the bored disdain that only an eight-year-old can deliver, when they're tired and hungry and just home from school. "Television. It rots the senses in the head. It kills imagination dead." I stare blankly, my fingers hovering over my laptop keys. "'Who told you that?" "Everyone knows that, Mum." She sighs, already halfway out of my office.
Roald Dahl's got a lot to answer for. It's not that I am advocating the ditching of the classics. I have oompa loompa-ed my kids with the best of them, sending my son Jesse off to school with his face orange and his hair green for National Book Day.

Bobbi Kristina is about to tackle reality TV in Lifetime's "Houston Family Chronicles," and although her father, Bobby Brown, knows all too well the pressure constant camera presence can exert on a family, the proud dad has no doubt his daughter can withstand the spotlight.

Emran was over the moon when we told him he’s the first hero to have three consecutive blockbusters in a row. He is still very unassuming and believes he can only succeed if the script and direction is right. When we joked about who is the best kisser in Bollywood he laughed and whispered that it has to be him! Emran is looking forward to the release of Shanghai opposite Abhay Deol and says his fans will see him in a different light. One thing Emran does want to do is plan for a long awaited holiday with his family in Europe where he will switch his phone off for two weeks and be “normal” for a while.

Veteran actress Blythe Danner forbids her family from setting her up on dates and is adamant she has no interest in pursuing love after the death of her husband Bruce Paltrow.
The director passed away due to complications from cancer and pneumonia in October 2002 during an Italian vacation with his actress daughter Gwyneth to celebrate her 30th birthday.
Meet The Fockers star Blythe was devastated to lose the love of her life and admits she hasn't bothered to try and find someone new in the decade since his passing.
She explains, "He was the heart of our family, a rock. It's almost 10 years and I miss him every day... I never tried to follow it or find anyone else. I think once you've had the best, you don't want anyone else, and I just haven't been on the look-out.
"My daughter-in-law was trying to matchmake for me and I said, 'No, stop! Don't do it!' I live in New York, and when you're older and widowed it's a perfect place because you just don't feel lonely there and, luckily, I like my own company, too."
Danner insists she will be forever grateful to her husband for supporting her career and pitching in to help raise their kids Gwyneth and Jake.
She adds, "He used to say to me, 'Darling, you go do the Chekhov or the Tennessee Williams plays and I'll do the TV and get the bread on the table.' He was a rare one."...

In just a few weeks we will be getting our first Men in Black film in nearly ten years, and hopefully the Men in Black sequel we deserve. Director Barry Sonnenfeld‘s first installment was a real head-turner, a rare type of blockbuster that could be touted as being something like a modern day Ghostbusters, though it was its own original breed of film. The 2002 sequel, however, was not that, forgetting nearly everything that made the first film unique. Thankfully, Sonnenfeld is well aware of this. The Get Shorty and Addams Family director is hoping to bring the series back down to where it all began: character and plot-driven action, not another aimless gag after gag sequel. From his different 3D approach to having what he calls a real nasty villain again, Barry Sonnenfeld declares Men in Black III a return to where the series started off so well. Thanks for giving me the extra time. I...

During her "Today" show appearance Tuesday, Rosie O'Donnell made it clear she doesn't think Lindsay Lohan should play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime TV movie. "I think she needs a lot of help. She needs a lot of time away," the typically outspoken O'Donnell said. She continued, "She's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including 'SNL.' She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she's not in a place to work."
Lindsay Lohan's rep Steve Honig fired back, issuing a statement to PerezHilton.com that said, "I think Rosie should focus on her own career instead of worrying about everyone else's."
And now Michael Lohan, Lindsay's father, has a few strong words for O'Donnell. In an email to The Huffington Post, Michael wrote:

According to Grammy Award-winning musician Ne-Yo being a superstar doesn't doesn't make parenting any easier. The singer, who just put the finishing touches on his fifth studio LP, "The R.E.D Album," tells Zap2It he's starting to feel the pressure to put food on the table.
"It's definitely made me go through the album with a fine-tooth comb," Ne-Yo says Wednesday night (April 18) on the red carpet at the Ascap Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles. "Now, it's not a matter of stroking my ego with record sales, it's, 'I gotta feed my damn kids. This thing doesn't sell, my kids don't eat.' You know? I might wanna do it right."
Despite the professional strain, the hardest part about being a dad for the R&B/pop singer is simply leaving the house.
"My daughter is one-and-a-half now, and she's in parrot-mode, meaning that everything you say she will repeat it.

Mark Ruffalo probably isn’t the actor most fans expected to see play Bruce Banner (aka The Incredible Hulk). But then again, were Ed Norton, Eric Bana and Bill Bixby really the predictable choices at the time? Once Ruffalo accepted the part and came aboard the cast of the star-studded “The Avengers,” he had to hold up the usual fanboy onslaught, much of it the same kinds of relatively baseless criticisms his own cast mates Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. faced when they were first cast as superheroes. It’s an impossible set of expectations to live up to.
Now Ruffalo says he’s glad to finally have the film in the can so fans can see his take on Banner in finished form and come to their own conclusions. He’s been a good sport about the process, smiling and laughing along as fan anticipation hit a fever pitch.

Starlet Amanda Bynes' father, Rick Bynes, adamantly states his daughter was not drunk, following her DUI arrest on Friday.
"She was not drunk," Rick Bynes told People.com. "I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn't have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn't drink."
Instead, Rick claimed the cop who arrested Amanda, 26, frazzled his daughter when he pulled out in front of her at the West Hollywood intersection where she was cited.

Hoo boy. While we appreciate that Amanda Bynes‘s dad would wants defend his daughter following her DUI arrest last week, there is a reason dads are required by law to wait in the minivan while picking you up from the dance. “She was not drunk,” Rick Bynes told People this afternoon. “I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.” Four individual sentences, four sweet, increasingly naive claims, Papa Bynes.
If his daughter’s arrest for clipping a police cruiser while driving under the influence isn’t enough to convince her pops that Amanda consumes alcohol occasionally, news from TMZ that his offspring was denied entrance to the bar at the Standard Hotel following her arrest on Friday, after she was released on $5,000 bail, probably isn’t go to change his mind either.

Who are the great American film directors? More to the point, who do we think are the great American film directors? Well, there’s Ford, of course, the Zeus of the American pantheon, by turns comic, epic, maudlin and humane. Then there’s Welles, the ill-fated genius, abused by producers but beloved of critics. Spielberg, even in his seventh decade, is still the boy wonder; Scorsese the mad scientist. Griffith is the wise forefather, deeply flawed but idolized nonetheless, while Hawks is ageless, just as sly and self-assured as he was at the time of “The Big Sleep” (1946).
Kubrick, however, beats them all.
Is there anyone more respected or, with the possible exception of Hitchcock, recognizable? Turn on any Stanley Kubrick movie and you should know instantly, whether you’ve seen it before or not, who the film’s director is. The peerless, pristine images; the long, empty corridors; the upturned,...

Actor Val Kilmer's once illustrious career has grown dim in the past decade. But over tea at the Viceroy Hotel on an overcast Santa Monica afternoon, the blond and now slimmed-down actor revealed a light within him that is growing brighter and brighter by the day. In speaking about his newest project, Kilmer confessed, "hopefully I will be redeemed for all the years of people saying nasty or naughty things about me."
Not many people can see the similarities between author Mark Twain, a professional satirist, and Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science and a professed faith healer. The pair never met in person, and the famed American author was perhaps Eddy's most public critic, saying that the woman possessed a "crooked" character and was the founder of a "cult."

New Delhi, March 18: Karisma Kapoor stayed away from films after marriage and children because she wanted to focus on her family. But she says she continued doing ads and TV as it was way easier than doing movies.

"I think I had great association with many brands for quite a few years. It's always nice then to do films. My daughter was growing so spending time on films was way too consuming, so I thought why not commercials. I wanted to give most of my time to family so I chose to do TV over.

Last week we asked if you wanted us to recap the new ABC comedy Gcb, and you answered loud and clear!
We're going to be experimenting with different recap styles, and this week it's a picture recap using the actual dialog from the show. We met the characters last week, and Episode Two offers up more one-liners, awesomely bad fashion, and a down low cowboy who may not be as down low as we thought.
"There is nothing in this book that says you can't own a booby bar."
"Sharon, I'm just not able to come to church today. Maybe you'd like to come over for a little prayer, a devotional ... a sticky bun?."
"I can't let Zack got to church alone with Amanda unleashed. I have to protect my marriage from her ... machinations."
