This series follows on from 'Koihime musô' so if you haven't watched that I'd advised doing so before starting on this series. Most if not all of the characters from that series return and are joined by several others; most notably the Chou Sisters; these have little to do with the main characters from before, they are a musical trio who hit the big time when they are given a magic book which enables them to make 'magical microphones'! These don't only amplify sound but also make the listeners do whatever they are told. At first they just ask for various presents but as the series draws to a close they use the power to raise an army which will lead then into conflict with Kan'u, Rin-Rin and their friends but not in the way one might expect!
This series featured rather less conflict with the bandits although there was some including a good episode where they tried to drown the bandits by opening the floodgates above a dry river as the bandits crossed. As before there is a fair amount of fan service; mostly in the form of the girls rather revealing costumes; there are however far more sexual comments made this time. If you didn't enjoy 'Koihime musô' then don't bother with this but if you did you'll probably like this too as it is more of the same.
