Better episode than the last few

Warning: Spoilers
Must admit it started out on more Darlene/Ben stuff and I groaned at that and was pretty much ready to click it off but I stuck with it. The episode is an improvement because it showcased other characters.

Becky had a couple of storylines going on--I like that she's thriving at college. It was always a powerful storyline in the original "Roseanne" when Becky wanted to go to college and she couldn't. I'm still going with lack of money instead of how this series portrayed Mark as being the reason Becky's such a mess. I also liked the ending where she was counseling teens so they wouldn't have to start over at Becky's age. I must admit I also got a kick out of one of of the teenagers guessing Becky's age as 35. Idk exactly what Lecy's doing but she looks younger than her actual age.

Mark--Another interesting storyline and wonder how this will play out since the other kid is moving away. Will they try and have Mark have a boyfriend out of state or will Mark have a boyfriend that will shake off the slight budding romance as "We were watching a boring movie and I just wanted to have some fun. The kisses weren't that serious. It's not like we're gonna get married when we're older." And I must also admit to liking how Ben (yes, I'm giving out a compliment!) and Mark play well off each other. I liked Mark confiding in Ben instead of Darlene. The kid's smart--I wouldn't want to confide in Darlene either.

Jackie acted like she had sense and that's always nice to see. Becky wants to start working part time so I'm curious to see who they'll bring in to help out at the Lunch Box.

I also must admit I'm curious about an upcoming episode that I feel might be a good one. I'm cautious in saying that. I was reading about it in the TV Guide earlier and it involves Dan having to sell (?) furniture in order to make room for Louise's stuff. I have my doubts about selling furniture that must be as old as Becky, Darlene or DJ. Not trying to be snarky there. I realize that's how things are when you struggle. You keep on repairing stuff til it literally can't be repaired anymore. Idk who would want to buy furniture that old. Anyway, I'm curious to see how the series deals with that. Some people can just throw stuff away, sell it or donate it and it not be a big deal. I think it might become a bit harder if this might be stuff that brings you a flood of memories of a deceased spouse.

Bring back Roseanne!
quockquock5 November 2021
The old shows were much better..... the ones in the 80's! These newer ones just blow. They aren't funny, and they are always trying to drive some message down our throats. Why can they show the old Roseanne episodes/reruns on TV (and make their residuals and money), but not have Roseanne on now? It makes no sense.

Warning: Spoilers
I was really struggling to make it through this episode and not switch to something else. The Conners has been weak as of late and I don't know why they won't shake things up in some capacity. At least some new writers.
