"Unleash your inner human!"

Faraday's project is in difficulty due to his inhuman social incompetence and single-track thinking alienating those around him. He meets Watt played by the delightful Zoë Wanamaker who is the perfect actress for this role to challenge, cajole and bully Faraday forward in his quest.

How she fits in, her origins and function are easily discernible early on, especially given her name, but the fabulous interactions between her and Faraday are striking, convincing and among the best scenes this season.

Unexpectedly good

Initially I had huge doubts that these guys could actually pull off a redo of the beloved Bowie version . So far I love the way this is put together. There is humor, irony and suspense. Hopefully all the remaining episodes stay the course. Thumbs up!!!

Weak and Silly Plot Mechanics This Episode
shannongillenwater29 May 2022
This episode was less enjoyable. Things are getting silly and unwatchable in regards to plot mechanics and story development. Acting was solid again throughout.

Lone CIA guy who can do whatever he wants. .eye roll.

Scientists and engineers use a provided design to build a simple Faraday cage without knowing that's what they're building? Ridiculous. And they do it within 6 hours of getting started. And then to make it worse the producers decorate with the Faraday cage with plain old light bulbs all over. Dumb.

Space man develops an imaginary friend while sober. And later gets drunk with said friend to provide an major insight. Pathetic.

His random writings on random size dry erase boards are magically the right size and shape to accidentally all line up to reveal a design. Stupid. Plus the design could've easily been written that way. No need for impossibly random lucky things to line up.
