The second season kicks hard, when the second leading actor leaves in the first episode. Maybe because of a budget constraint they could not afford the landlady character, but here is the twist: landlord and the narrator are going played by the same person. The show doesn't lower the high bar it set in its first season and continues to provide advice on the most important parts of life with incredible ease.

love it so much

Imagine my excitement when I came to IMDb to check if and when the second season would be here and then seen it was in 2 days. What are my chances.
The show is unique, thoughtful, clever and sometimes quite hilariously profound and sensitive. I can't imagine the hours put into filming this and how well the bizarre footage accompanies the commentary. I love all the different people we meet on the journeys we go on in each episode, the little stories here and there and the lessons learned.

Congrats on getting a new house!

Warning: Spoilers
Hey John Wilson, you seem like the kind of guy who would read the reviews of your own HBO series. Congrats on getting a new house? Building? In mf New York! Your landlord seemed like a really nice lady. Hope she has a nice life in Vegas!
