This is beyond boring
dawnfyahiro10 June 2022
I'm not sure what this is supposed to be? It's boring and nothing really happens. It seems more like a travel video for Dubai. I feel I have learned nothing about this city.

The absolute worst
cockezville8 June 2022
This is pure trash, no real Emirati women or a sense of Dubai culture. The women all look like hookers who moved to Dubai and their personalities are all bitchy entitled- Even Phaedra from Atlanta is supposed to show up and if she did I missed it because the show is boring. Not an engaging woman in the bunch. Wtf is wrong with Andy Cohen to put this mess out. There has to be a likeability factor as well as quirky with the characters but these bitches are just annoying and unattractive bimbos. No thanks !

Very misleading, nothing real here!
soumayab5 June 2022
So, where are the Emarati women? These are not the real housewives of dubai, these are the real expats of Dubai. And no they do not represent anything about Dubai. All these fake women, brought together to show off plastic, and gossip about each other is not entertaining. Boring dialogues, forced drama, no chemistry, too much pretending! Yawn !

Dull plot lines, not enough glitz, unappealing women.
cmmonaco16 June 2022
The problem seems to be the women did not know each other before the show started. Ayan is a gorgeous model and she's running around throwing shade at women she just met (You said I was unimportant?) and picking silly fights to create drama because there is none otherwise. Caroline Stanbury is a wealthy hard-working influencer who is busy hyping her shoe brand, her podcast, and all the brands who pay her in Dubai including the hotel Raffles where she has a second wedding to her husband Sergio for the cameras. Add to that the restaurants who are paying the producers and its not a tour of billionaires backyards in Palm Jumeriah but a string of waiters welcoming ladies to lunch in restaurants that can be anywhere offering up the specialty of the day. They intercut it with shots of Dubai landmarks and hit a few but this show could be anywhere. The women are ethnically diverse with one caucasian, two Arabs, and three of Black or Afro-Caribbean descent. But they aren't really diverse. The women are five American citizens, one British citizen, and one Emirati who I came to watch because she was the manager and girlfriend of Michele Morrone the most gorgeous actor of 365 Days. But that relationship professional and personal seems to be over and he has not so far appeared in the show. So that thrill is gone. The Emirati Sara Almadani is frankly quite boring despite her many tattoos which are "haram" in Muslim culture. She takes a shot at the toxicity of the Emirates masculine culture and tells us she's raising her son to be a person but then goes through this fake pantomime of trying to get him to sit on the floor and eat with his hands to pass on the tradition. When he refuses she turns to the nanny and says "Maureen I tried." Sure once for the cameras. She is not rich enough to be a thing of envy her kitchen is a 1970s laminate hell. And there must be many rich Emirati women they could put on the show - some with traditional values who might clash with the other stars or perhaps could give us a real lesson in Emirati culture. Honestly, this is a miss for Bravo. They were led by brand sponsorships and forgot all about talent and character and plot.

How is this "REAL" housewives of Dubai when they are Brits, Americans ?
dssharma-964983 June 2022
With just one Emirati that too divorced single not technically a "wife" let alone a Housewife and the show becomes Real HW's of Dubai ??.. When you are calling it a reality TV show please show some reality modesty and simple luxurious living of real Emirati housewife is way more interesting that this fake charades.

If you're a RH fan, you'll love it!
2siamese15 June 2022
All of the negative reviews are the reason to watch it! It's not supposed to be a serious representation of Emirati women, none of the RH series represent anything about the cities shown. It's a good laugh, great trash tv & worth watching. 2 episodes in, it's actually the best RH out there!

Awful
xlond27 April 2023
Awful. Hard to watch with the nasty attitudes and selfishness. Of course the three black women, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Lesa Milan, don't allow even one episode to pass without starting all the quarrels, provoking fightd and scream and argue over nothing. Without them there wouldn't be the constant negativity added to the show. If they think Dubai treats them like royalty I am sure the people of Dubai had a wakeup call by now. I wouldn't want to be friends with any of them. There is so much negativity added especially by these three women, and Caroline Stanbury being the fourth, I am not sure what normal person would want to spend time with people like this.

Amazing!
christopherpantin11 June 2022
These reviews are being WAY too picky. This is Housewives! They're supposed to be fake and dramatic! I do wish that there were more Emirati housewives, but as this show says, the country is mostly expats.

Can't Do It
bcorzine3 June 2022
Don't waste your time or money. I tried watching the first episode because I enjoyed Caroline Stanbury in Ladies of London and was interested in what life in Dubai was like. But that isn't what I got. Only one of the ladies is from Dubai and none of them are truly describing what it is like to live there (based on what I have heard from friends). They are acting like this is Las Vegas. Sadly, I'm going to pass on this franchise. P. S. Bring back Ladies of London!

Honestly speaking this is the worst I have seen ! They look so desperate to be somebody and with no real elegance or class. Trash at it's finest . Shocked that it has been allowed to even air .

Disappointing!
ridoutjennifer11 August 2022
Tried to watch the first episode and couldn't get through it. I've spent time in Dubai and know "Real" house wife's from the Emirates..... these ladies are certainly not them.

Total WASTE of time, never again!
vlm195327 August 2022
Completely pointless waste of time, not one trace of authenticity or real moral value in any of the women who do absolutely NOTHING but brag and compete with each other for the title of MOST USELESS HUMAN BEING EVER. Fake hair/wigs, jewelry, pancake makeup, overpriced cars and homes do NOT make you genuine. Barely able to get thru each episode as I was beyond bored and disgusted at the lack of any plot. In today's world of nothing but SERIOUS problems and people suffering, there are so many things their supposed wealth and time could help. Shame on Bravo for this disgraceful, empty, ridiculously STUPID waste of film.

Skip it!! So boring and fake
alechi-4175318 June 2022
I've never seen a group of women who are these obnoxious and full of themselves. The drama is totally manufactured for our "viewing pleasure!" The women think they're so rich and gorgeous and feel that these alone could sell a show. Cancel cancel cancel. Not worth 2 minutes of my time.

Must watch!!
Tracyndiyob10 June 2022
The past 2 episodes have been filled with beauty, luxury, and extravagance. Everything you could want from the Housewives franchise especially being in Dubai. I read a review saying that it should be called the Real Housewives of Africa. Why? Because of the absolutely gorgeous black women casted? Stay mad! Can't wait to watch more:)

Bravo has lost their damn minds!!
dmcosta-454334 June 2022
I have loved all the Real Housewives cities...some more then others...but have been hooked since the first episode in Orange County. When I saw they were bringing back one of the most fan favorites, Caroline Stanbury (Ladies of London) and she was going to star in the new Real Housewives in the richest city in the world, I figured, that's gonna be a must see gold mine!!

WRONG!!!

How Bravo has managed to screw this newest enstallment so bad that you won't even want to finish the first episode, is a sign that they should have stopped while they were ahead. Bring back Dallas, or go to Denver... But Dubai is an awkward, unrelateable, forced, joke. Just stop. Seriously, make it stop.

Why Was This Garbage Produced
jdalleyesq18 August 2022
I am so tired of seeing the commercial for something that looks so pointlessly boring and annoying, I write this "review" in the modest hope that the show's advertisers will avoid platforms that do not cater to their target audience. I'm a 50-something year old political junkie who watches MSNBC, CNN and various political/public affairs channels on YouTube. This inane "reality show" has no interest to me and I can't imagine most viewers of MSNBC would watch it. SO why the f--k do I see the same commercial on EVERY commercial break for MSNBC's shows, sometimes more than once per commercial break? It's so annoying I turn down the volume on this single commercial.

PLEASE, whoever produces this garbage, please realize that this show interests me about as much as I'm interested in licking the men's bathroom floor in Grand Central Station. STOP!!!

Well Done
c-48027-1348114 June 2022
This show is about a group of friends living in Dubai. There is petty drama here and there but it's more so about their journeys and personal lives. Dubai is mostly made up of Expats, if your comment is complaining about the Expats you've never been to Dubai.

This is the actual truth. I read comments about the lack of Emirati women, however due to culture those are wouldn't want to be on American television. The only emirate on the show actually spoke about this On The Show.

Furthermore due to Dubai restrictions they were some things this production are not allowed to show. So if it comes across as boring, keep that in mind...

Not real at all
klf_72221 June 2022
The program is not a representation of anything in the UAE. The name is misleading the language spoken should be Arabic not English. In general this show is not supposed to be made but unfortunately this is the shows we see sometimes on TV. I don't recommend anyone to watch it.

Terrible
4daw20 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Can't understand how Andy is endorsing this show . I know most reality television shows are scripted but this makes saved by the bell look more realistic . The woman are truly not very wealthy , just look up there net worths yet they act as if they are gods gift to earth . Especially Chanel Ayan , such disgusting behaviour . Im very surprised someone like this can reside in dubai , yet I'm sure her small net worth has come from fake magazines and other frowned upon activities . Sara al madani is always preaching about being real but her face is the fakest thing I've ever seen so much plastic surgery , as well as tongue pierced ?? I wonder what the point of that is ? What is the point of this show ??? There is nothing fabulous about fake wealth and seeing Chantal ayan walk around a mall belittling everyone with her recycled one liners that she's trying to trademark as original .. wow cancel this garbage already.

They can't even get superficial escapism right!
bass-player-blues13 June 2022
The point of a show like this should be to show how the other half lives and transport us into that fantasy because we don't have it. A lot of the most filthy rich people in the world live in Dubai so as someone in middle America I want to be disgusted by all their excess and simultaneously jealous about it. Where's the private jets, the exotic cars, beautiful locations, and above all beautiful people? I want to see gorgeous models in Dubai eating meals that cost more than what I make in a year not just people doing ordinary things like anyone can do! These shows literally aren't written with any male influence once so ever. These are the most beautiful women in the wealthiest area? Not one is even remotely hot! At least Real Housewives of Miami, Beverly Hills, and Orange County had some eye candy at the bare minimum!

The poorest housewives
skyeb-7262111 September 2022
I am a huge fan of the franchise, especially Beverly Hills, NYC, Atlanta, Dallas...

I live in Dubai for over 10 years so naturally I was looking very much forward to the show.

Unfortunately its shockingly disappointing.

Where is the glitz & glamour ??? Isn't what the franchise is about ? To admire the life of the super rich, beautiful & charismatic women ?!!??

None of the women are wealthy, none of them lives on Palm Jumeriah (the equivalent to Beverly Hills or Upper east side ) instead they live in basic ugly villas/apartments that pretty much everyone in Dubai can afford.

Land is cheap in UAE and there is plenty of it.

Ayan lives in JBR apartment !?! Is that a joke ? It's one of the most basic cheapest place to live in Dubai. Stanbury is renting at the moment and building a house in Al barari, that's as good as it gets?! Let me tell you it's not expensive to build a house in desert.

Not a single one of them is attractive, witty, cool fun, or smart ! The only pretty one is Ayan, but her IQ and her repulsive personality cancels her beauty on all levels.

Nina is the most boring one! Hope she gets replaced.

Sara, no comment or she will call the police on me.

Over all, the women aren't compatible at all & incapable to make a good tv together.

Why to pick 3 black women? Black people are the smallest minority in UAE.

I believe the key to success for each city franchise is authenticity!

Therefore the cast sure must be diverse, just as Dubai is, but must include an Indian housewife ( Indians are by far the biggest ethnic group in UAE) and some of the richest & most glamorous women in Dubai and also a Russian housewife ( or any Eastern European housewife).

I really hope the Dubai franchise will be renewed for next season, but with some cast members changes ! 🙏🏻🤞🏻

Dumbest show ever - It should be cancelled
ydeporter13 June 2022
Those women are an embarrassment to the authentic and intelligent women from Dubai and the rest of the world. Emirati women should file a formal complaint and not allow those women to misrepresent them.

They want to sell the ideas that they are wise; however, they behave like bimbos. Even ghetto women can offer something more fascinating than this group of women pretending that they are sophisticated.

What is wrong with Chanel Ayan? She thinks she is a goddess. It is painful to see her. Also, the divorced women portrayed themselves as they married money, and the husbands regretted the mistake of marrying them and took off. Some of these women try to over-charm their origins. I don't think they are proud of their cultures and ethnicity.

Dubai is an expat city!
SverigeismyHjarta7 June 2022
Really enjoyed this, ok there has only been one ep but it was very fun! No it is not realistic but hmm which of the shows anywhere in the world it totally realistic? If you want a cultural documentary then you should not look to these shows anyway! But does this reflect wealthy of Dubai yes it does. Sorry if you do not realize that but it is true! Also I enjoy seeing black women from various backgrounds along with other nationalities of women. That made this both interesting and entertaining to me as an American black woman living outside of my birth nation and married to an European. I will be watching all of this!

But what did you expect to watch in the richest city in the world?
edsm10016 June 2022
I've been there and the city is not for poor, all there is rich and expensive, city for millionaires. But people appear to criticizing the series. Anyone who is rich would have exactly this life, of absolute luxury and a lot of money. There are 300 thousand born there against 2 million worldwide immigrant and criticisms wanted to see only the born there. It only be a joke. But if they were Beverly Hills rich in their life of, no one would criticize. It's impossible to understand. Just one mine recommendation: If you are not a millionaire, watch it to see what your life would be like there, that is very rare to watch videos about the daily life of the rich, besides seeing the city of Dubai.
