Aspiring filmmakers Adam (Kohn) and David (Basis) travel halfway across the Us to shoot a documentary on former reality star turned reporter Meredith Phillips, played in meta fashion by former reality star Meredith Phillips. Turning the pair down, the duo think all is lost – that is until Phillips is given a new assignment: uncover the mystery behind the death of a pair of twins in their family’s barn. Without a crew, Phillips ropes in the two young filmmakers with the promise that they’ll get their documentary along the way. So the trio head off to the site of the murders, which like any good horror movie is a creepy small town in the middle of Nowheresville, USA…

Director Fritz Manger’s Re-Cut, a “found footage” slasher film, that when twin girls are found dead in their family’s barn, reality star turned TV-reporter Meredith Phillips and her de-facto camera crew are dispatched to rural Wisconsin to investigate the gruesome deaths, has scored a new trailer.

Always one of the most enjoyable events of the year, the 17th Austin Film Festival is gearing up to kick-off next month.
The annual event takes place from October 21-28 in Austin, Texas with movies such as Natalie Portman's "Black Swan" on the docket.
